Honestly I am always amazed at the number of signs I see for him. I live in Houston and in a lot of the wealthy neighborhoods that you would think would be a predominate republican base you see the whole neighborhood littered with his signs.

No skateboard/no backpack;no care

He really has put up a good showing. Tons of people at his rallies. Cruz is boring AF on the campaign trail and Beto although a cuck supreme, is affable and a good speaker.

We'll definitely see him again in another race and I'll be the first to vote against him

Politics is entertainment. People are not thinking this through.

Yep. Dems want "likeable" guys to be their president.

Every once in a while you can find a likeable guy who can also be a bad-arse (Reagan).

But it's rare, and until we find the next one I'll take the shrewd arse that can get shite done over a likeable guy whose feckless.

Exactly what sort of political change are affluent Texans looking for?

On ABC morning after the debate they played Trump calling Cruz a liar and saying the word liar more than any thing else. That was the whole segment.

Very balanced

He'd be a lock to win if he was running for Senator of the Rio Grande Valley. He's not. He's gonna lose.

Honestly, I think its a lot of transplants that are more liberal minded. I mean what does the term "Texan" mean to you? There are tons of people from California and the northeast who have moved there. There are also tons of affluent immigrants, engineer types, etc. If north Texas gets Amazon H2 forget about it.

Yeah, I can't figure out what sort of political change any such people could be looking for with regard to their representation at this point.

Are you allowed to be described as a “phenomenon” if you’ve never polled above 45% against Ted Cruz?

This is an awfully grandiose way to say "losing."
