Mail in voting.

Washington state already had the vote stolen twice from Dino Rossi by continuing to have recounts until they could sneak enough Dem ballots in to secure a win.

If Drazan wins, I will honestly be shocked.

I guess I am old now when I hear this. Fifty ain't bad if you keep yourself in shape and she looks better than a lot of 40 year olds.

Yep. We will see this in a lot of races in states with mail in voting. Democrats have already shown their playbook.

This particular race though does have one good thing going for it and that's a third party candidate that is taking away votes from the Democrat.

It's crazy to think how far left Oregon has gone. Portland and Eugene have always been liberal but back in the early 1990s there was Ballot Measure 9:
quote:

All governments in Oregon may not use their monies or properties to promote, encourage or facilitate homosexuality, pedophilia, sadism or masochism. All levels of government, including public education systems, must assist in setting a standard for Oregon's youth which recognizes that these behaviors are abnormal, wrong, unnatural and perverse and they are to be discouraged and avoided.

Wouldn't they have a runoff since she didn't get 50% of the vote? I'd imagine the third party voters would swing Dim at that point.

Not all states require a 50% majority.

A number of states like Massachusetts and Maine only require a plurality.

Her D opponent is exactly what you’d picture.

Ugly lesbian radical leftist. I know it’s hard to believe.

I don't think there will be a runoff. This Los Angeles Times articles implies that no candidate needs to get 50% of the vote:
quote:

The mathematics of the three-way contest, however, make it quite possible the next governor could be elected with less than 50% support, opening the door for Johnson or the GOP nominee, Christine Drazan, to slip through.

In theory, 35% of the vote could be enough to win and thus end years of Democratic reign along the Left Coast, from Baja California to Canada’s border.

Correct. Oregon does not require a majority for victory. Whoever has the most votes on November 8th wins.

Or, with mail-in voting, whoever has the most votes by December 19th wins...
