That would basically make marriage have about as much meaning as a "friendship" as far as the government is concerned,

So a marriage that has the same resbonsibilies and benifits somehow reduces the meaning of marriage?

Say what?

Gay marriage that is equal in every right and responsibility in no way devalues the institution of marriage in society. The only difference is that the people are gay.

You could seriously reword the anti-gay marriage screeds with the the word Black for the word gay and see how bigoted the arguments really are.

Next time you make an argument, I'll try it with you, and then read it and truly tell yourself that you don't hate gays.

Logically, he's right and you're wrong. It's intolerance of a group of people which is, well, bigotry.

Of course, intolerance is cool if it's against people on the other side. Got it.

No one is advocating intolerance in this thread. Stay on point.

Several of you have complained about these "activist judges" when it comes to this. Don't you think it's time to revisit this? I mean they ALL can't be "activist judges" can they?

Or, maybe MUCH MORE LIKELY, these judges realize what is going to happen to them, their families, their children, their grandchildren, and anyone they ever associated with if they dare to cross the gay mafia TERRORIST.

Given the "obvious" intellectual abilities you demonstrate on this board each and every day, this is pretty much exactly what I expected from you.

since this is all over,

when are you going to get on board with conjoint marriage?

Activists always need a new dragon to slay, one is never enough.

would you please stop posting about your and your lovers fetish of dicks, it has grown to sickening heights. Go set set up your own board for your legion(roughly 5% of the population not more than that)and not the populations shown on tv. For a business name go with Toddys R US, feel free to show hard core on demand.

I'm a Catholic, Gay, Republican...talk about a conundrum of beliefs, but I'm pretty open with my beliefs on issues. Pretty much my mantra is, "Be nice or leave."

Thank you. This is very refreshing to hear. I realize you didn't choose to be gay but choosing to remain catholic and republican speaks very highly of your character. You could have very easily just slipped into a disgruntled, hate filled, single issue voter.
I would bet that most on this board support gay marriage but are just so tired of hearing about it and having it "in your face" all the time. I'd also bet most can't stand Toddy not because he is gay but rather he's a single issue one trick hack.
