You claimed I said rural Alabamians were "backwards" and "insular" but have yet to provide anything beyond a critique of Roy Moore. Now you claim that I think I'm "above others"? Do you actually have a point or are you going to keep building up that rickety straw man of yours?

So using the phrase regarding his views (which are in line with the majority of Alabama voters including those on your campus) being the same as rural 37 years ago isn't to have the implication as being backward? That's not supposed to be degrading?


Why didn't you use something like "very social conservative views" given that majority of his stances that are controversial regard abortion and LGBT rights. Because you think that the views are from a different era or backwards.
