Take guns out of the hands of those who don’t even have control over their own existence. They are already dependent on the state for sustinence, why not for safety?

Can we also include people that claim to have encountered make-believe sea creatures?

No, you can always choose not to take ebt or tanf. No different than them making people take drug tests or people in public housing giving up right to search homes without warrant.

most guns in poor communities are not legally owned in the first place. That would do nothing

You don’t like this proposal that would remove guns from people who disproportionately commit more gun crime?

Or we could just throw the book at people who own, sell, and trade guns illegally

I think if you are on government assistance if any kind you should forfeit your right to vote until you haven't been on government assistance since the last election

You mean draconian gun laws don’t work or are you implying people on the dole are not trustworthy?

As much as I hate leeches, "shall not be infringed" means exactly that.

What? They take part in these programs voluntarily. They could always..you know..take care of themselves. Act like an adult, get treated like one.

Seeing how most of these people would probably live in poorer, more dangerous areas, I would be against this 100%.

Didn't see that clause in the 2A.

Do we start to restrict 1A rights as well?
