Yeah working for government contractors in the DC suburbs. How come Trump hasn't fixed that yet?

I heard something like 30% of California residents were born outside the US.

Country is being taken over by outside enemies that are now voting to disarm the natives.

If Western Civilization dies the cause of death is suicide.

I was born outside of the US and I am pro 2A as well as an American citizen. It has taken me some time to understand the intent behind it, and I've had to educate myself on the Constitution, American history, American culture then and now, etc.

What is badly, badly needed is strong education in the history of this country (not the crap that passes for history in today's schools), mandatory civics classes for all including those applying for citizenship, and a strong, clear message from the pro-gun faction on how it is all rooted in American history and tradition.

Many foreigners tend to see Americans as cowboys shooting guns for fun and games like at the OK Corral and have no clear understanding of gun ownership as rooted in American tradition.

Link?

This article says that 1/9 of Virginia RESIDENTS was born outside the US. Of course, many of those residents are not citizens and are thus not eligible to vote.

This article says that only half of them are citizens. If that is correct, only about 6% of eligible voters are foreign-born.

The largest group is NOT from India, but rather from El Salvador.

Doesn't mean they don't.

Especially if they have a driver's license system like New York state.

Why does that statistic surprise you? Does it not occur to you that many career diplomats have overseas postings and start families when overseas? When returning many of them settle in Virginia. Unless you have a link to some statistics that indicate the nationality of the voters’ parents your topic is somewhat misleading.

NO, Trump did not carry Virginia.

We have been, and remain, a nation of immigrants. In 1910, 70% of New York City was foreign born. This is who we are. Embrace it because it will not change.

Why 1910 though? What about 2019?

Just giving an example of the fact that we have had, for many, many decades, large numbers of foreign-born people in this country. This is not a new phenomenon.

I'm sick of seeing this.

We are a nation of settlers, natives, and immigrants. We are diverse, multi-cultural, but most of all the Freest of all nations in world history.

"A Nation of immigrants" doesn't even scratch the service
