The Nurse Practitioner who said she prescribes medicine based on political affiliation is out of a job.
Good statement by the hospital.

No, this was a fat NP that said she would withhold needed prescriptions to those who disagreed with her politics.
Next step is that this woman needs to lose her license. The New Right is fighting back.

It might even be worse than you think. In the letter, she is described as an APRN. Not all APRNs are nurse practitioners.
Maybe it's a wording issue in the letter or maybe shortages of qualified providers is affecting this hospital system.

"I allowed my personal feelings to spill out"? No you didn't you k*nt, you allowed your politics to dictate how you ran your practice. F you with rusty nails.

she thought she would be a hero and a media darling for her virtue signaling, instead she is called out as the crazy idiot she is and hopefully is never allowed a job in any medical field anywhere ever again

She apologized for her post and letting her feelings spill out, but not for her actions as a nurse providing different levels of care based on political affiliation.
Sigh
Sigh

In fairness, we don’t know that she ever provided different levels of care, just that she claimed to online for internet points. Same as the nurse that claimed to stick patients multiple times for IVs on purpose. Neither case produced any witnesses or patients claiming to have experienced what they described.
That said, still the correct result. You can’t say stuff like that and keep your job, or even your profession. Who would hire someone with that stuff out there on the internet just a google search away?

I believe she said sh was going to be selective on meds to her patients. Pubs get nothing to help

They can put you on a vent as long as they deem necessary.

What I don’t like about this is that it looks like they let her resign, so in future job interviews she doesn’t have to explain being fired.
Her behavior warranted immediate termination and she should not have been give the easy option if resigning.
Yes, I get it was probably “resign or be fired”, but the hospital shouldn’t have given her the choice.

She’s not in Chicago. She’s in Mattoon, IL. There’s probably 50 NPs in the area. Everyone will know who she is and what she said.
