On illegals that leftists insist get amnesty - where are they willing to compromise?

or are they willing to come to the table at all?
let's start here, what if Trump and Republicans said that they would be willing to create a path to citizenship for those that can demonstrate that they are productive in some way?
those that are paying taxes and contributing can apply for permanent resident status with the ability to gain full citizenship rights after 15 years of paying taxes or having served 5 years in the military
anyone that is receiving any type of government assistance is automatically deported
Could they accept keeping productive illegals only?

The see amnesty (path to citizenship) as a sticking point. They want amnesty because they think it will result in more voters.

There not going to compromise...theyre scared shitless of their base, and the longer this goes on, specifically the fact that the Left chose to deny CHIP benefits and Military salaries, over illegals with no rights at all, Republicans need to stay cool and let the Titanic sink.

Daca is a winning issue, but not against funding our government. Dems know daca is a great negotiating tool for republicans in search of immigration reform so they tried to use shutdown to get it for free. It has blown up in their faces.

They would never take that deal. I think they want them to vote now. I haven’t heard either side talk about dreamers voting right. That has to be the sticking point .

Dems are being told they can only protect one group of people and they have to sign the death certificate for the other. But the Democrats are taking a pro life stand, saying that they will give up other issues but will not voluntarily harm either group. At least this is their position.

Give them worker permits but no path to citizenship. Just more votes for the leftists.
Chain migration and the lottery system have to go. Establish merit based immigration only going forward and fund the wall.

We need to cancel the 6month moratorium now and call in every ice agent to start rounding up dreamers and busing them to the border ASAP.
That would get chuck to the table.

I agree. No matter what republicans will be made out to be the bad guy on DACA so they need a sweet deal or sent them back home.
