Do you not think that the issue of police killing civilians is a nationwide problem? I'm pretty sure it's happened in Ohio as well. The people have a grievance and the government has failed to redress it time and again.

I agree with that. It is definitely bullshite. But we are sorta through the looking glass on this one. No matter what any of us here on the internet say, this is happening and I'm pretty sure the people taking part in the riots feel like their rights have been trampled on by their own government for far too long.

Martial law coming soon?

The whole time reading this I thought they took over a STEAKhouse.

I was imagining them firing up the grill and cooking up steaks and shite.

Seems coincidental as hell that the worst of this is happening in states to be contested in November. Things that make you go hmmm.

While LA and NYC have rioted, they have done nothing compared to MSP and Columbus.

La and nyc have police forces that are better at crowd control.

It’s a weird tactic by the Dems to fire up their base but lose the middle ground here

I’ve seen videos from LA (especially) and NYC, and neither of those states is going to be contested in November since they’re two of the bluest states.

I think the narrative that it’s rampant and part of systematic racism is bullshite

What the frick are you talking about, man? I explicitly stated that I don't agree with it either. But that doesn't change what's happening. My opinion isn't going to change anything and neither will yours (except the demeanor of every person you insult on this board on a daily basis, you fricking prick).

You can go frick yourself, man.

Agreed. But the problem is that people believe that narrative anyways and pointing out that it's bogus isn't going to change anything.

Would this be happening if it wasn’t an election year?

Police brutality and racism are two different problems. Both are real, but the race flame is the one that gets stoked on election years.

The many cases where hot headed cops shoot white civilians don’t make headlines like this. But it happens way more than it should. It can happen to you and me.

Bad cops are not rooted out fast enough. We do need to make some changes.

No. Compared to the hundreds of millions of interactions annually, it's a rare occurrence.

It may not be a problem to me or you, but try telling that to these people who are burning shite to the ground over it and see how far you get.

Do you really think that most of them are doing this because of Floyd or are they just having one he!! of a party burning and looting because it is fun and they expect to get away with it?
