Officials say Jacob Blake was tased twice before shooting, identify 2 other cops involved

During a struggle that preceded the broad-daylight shooting in Kenosha, police deployed their tasers twice in a failed attempt to subdue the 29-year-old father of six, the Wisconsin Department of Justice said in a news release Friday morning.
One of the cops who used a taser Sunday afternoon was Rusten Sheskey, a seven-year veteran of the Kenosha Police Department who was identified as the shooter earlier this week. The other was Vincent Arenas, who has been with the agency since February 2019 and previously worked with the U.S. Capitol Police Department, authorities said.
The third officer at the scene was identified Friday as Brittany Meronek, who joined the Kenosha Police Department in January.

Legitimate question - are we sure it was a kid. I've read that in WI third degree sexual assault has nothing to do with children. Just means forcible rape.
I'm not saying forcible rape isn't awful too, just trying to get the fact right when I argue with people defending the a-hole.

Could just boil it down to calling him a sex-offender, which is a catch-all regardless of whether it was stat rape or forcible rape.

Thank you for going into every Blake thread and fact checking what age his strangulation and rape victim was. We all agree he’s a violent rapist, thanks for making sure we know what age he likes to rape. That’s an important piece of information that changes the circumstances.

I get this. But when you're discussing this shite with people that defend him, fact checking is exactly what they do. So it's better to know the truth.

This board makes me scratch my head at times. We get rightfully pissed at the media and others for being dishonest with their information, but then jump down peoples' throats for making sure all information being spread is correct. You either want honesty and truth, or not, no matter how small the detail might seem to you.
