Fauci acknowledged that Trump would "want to make sure the country wouldn't get down and out about things," but added, "I don't recall anything that was a gross distortion in anything I spoke to him about."

Meanwhile WEEKS LATER, Zeke Emanuel was saying don't wear masks, and Biden was calling Trump a xenophobe for shutting down Chinese travel. Dems better be damn careful where they try to take this.

I'm not a Trump bot and I'll criticize him when i think it's warranted. This is not that instance. Back then even the experts were going back and forth on how Covid was spread, whether a mask worked or not, if it only protected the other person and not the user, how long it existed outside the host. . . They changed their assessments multiple times.
The POTUS has to weigh not only medical health, but the mental health and economic health of the nation. The effects on every aspect of Americans' lives has to be weighed and he has to thread the needle on his decision process on a pandemic that has never existed.
We'll never know how many lives he saved with the travel restrictions and the media and left will not acknowledge how significant that was.
