a United States citizen (and son of a terrible person) who was killed, purposefully, by a US drone
no due process was given
pop quiz time: which fascist administration commented on he killing like this? "I would suggest that you should have a far more responsible father if they are truly concerned about the well-being of their children."

There's actually two layers to this:
Obama directed the CIA to kill Anwar al-Awlaki without due process.
The his son, an American, was mysteriously killed with a bunch of other Yemenis in a drone bombing and Gibbs offered that extremely ill-chosen reasoning in the OP.
