Remember when companies started cutting everyone's hours to under 30 to avoid Obamacare? I wonder if that had anything to do with people getting second jobs.

I mean, in theory, if everyone who had a job, actually had two jobs, it would make the unemployment rate a little worse since one person would be taking up two jobs, thus having less jobs available for the unemployed.

I had two jobs for about 30 yrs, my regular over 40/hr week management job and my Reservist Army Aviator job.
National Guard Pilots and Reserve Pilots of all branches of Services must maintain the same Flight hours, pass 4 different written tests yearly, as well as maintain physical condition and pass a physical test yearly; the same as Active Duty Pilots of all Branches. At least once a month often working 14 days straight between the two jobs.

I wish a reporter had the stones to ask her how much money SHE thinks everyone needs to be equally happy. (Hint: They never have a concrete number in mind and it's ALWAYS less than the politician "needs" for a "living wage") It's just like fricking pastors/preachers. They NEED enough to have nice cars, clothes, house, etc. But their congregation doesn't "need" that 10% (or whatever it is) enough to avoid giving it.

Good point, and I honestly didn't even think about that. In that case, if everyone with more than one job were to quit all but one of them tomorrow, the unemployment rate would likely decrease because unemployed people would be needed to fill the holes they left when they moved to single-employment. So she actually couldn't be more wrong if she tried.
