Objectively explain fascism (min. 100 words, max (250 words) - DON'T COPY/PASTE!!!

Whenever I'm about to lose complete faith in this board and decide that this is just a simpleton Trump male groupie/Trump male cheerleader board, I'll see some substantive and thoughtful posts.
I know for a fact (or else I'd like to) that there are at least FIVE PEOPLE on this board who have an understanding of fascism as a political system. No way that's too much to ask (like Floyd Mayweather reading an entire page out of a Harry Potter book without effing up). I refuse to believe that this board is nothing but an even more braindead extension of Fox & Friends in the morning.
A bunch of grown dudes carrying megaphones wearing male cheerleader pants and "T" sweaters.
No way that a Politics board could be complete amateur hour. I refuse to believe that lol!!!!

Except that wiki leaves much out. Historians even argue about the definition because of shared traits with other pol/econ systems. But, let’s first acknowledge that the ideology was written about in the 1700s and possibly as far back as Ancient Rome.
