Seems legit.
The similarities in numbers, between South African and Mexican women and all Americans is a head scratcher. sarc.

If we solved this, we would reduce our healthcare costs by 70% or more. But we’re not allowed to talk about this.

plenty of $ making scams out there promising weight loss, but when it comes to the big pharma con, that's peanuts.

That's Americans for you. Most want to believe that they can just buy their way into a better life and better health. You couldn't ask for an easier herd of sheep to shear.

Maybe Big Pharma doesn’t want us to discuss obesity because it brings them in majority of they billions?

What I don’t understand is it’s ok to shame people for not getting a vaccine, but it’s not ok to fat shame people when this is the most lethal disease we are facing.

I wonder what the percentage would be if you included overweight as well as obese. I bet we hit 80% at least.

Don't think for one minute that BP don't have top minds on some sort of obesity 'med' right now. The idea of being able to pig out, with no health or aesthetic consequences would be the el dorado of pharmaceutical enterprise.

When one contemplates and comprehends where Humanity has came from and where we are (hopefully) going, a true appreciation of the current scenario is overwhelming. Considering all people's hopes and dreams and our common journey from the Flesh to the Spirit, and where particular individuals are on that path, just boggles the mind. Especially if one views this scenario from a love-based pov.

Awe is real. At least as real as 'real' is.

Needs to be said again,,,this is why universal healthcare/single payer would never work here in the United States. Look how unhealthy we are. A country of fatties.

Working for a company that makes medicine to treat diabetes, I can confirm this is true. We have products that have shown great efficacy in trials for weight loss and those products are being prepped for approval to also get approval to be prescribed to treat obesity.

If that happens, huge $$$$$

For s**** and giggles, let's do it by race.

Non-Hispanic Black adults (49.6%) had the highest age-adjusted prevalence of obesity,

followed by Hispanic adults (44.8%),

non-Hispanic White adults (42.2%)

and non-Hispanic Asian adults (17.4%).

13%. Blacks lead the way!
