Yea, I've never understood the media blaming others for putting stuff in the news. Do they not control their own story? Can they not go off the beaten path and cover what they want? Must they all be in lock-step with what is covered?

Which law did they break?

"I" am not a legal council, attorney and know just enough law to make me look ridiculous. Interpreted that means I can't state statute, verse or otherwise.

But to help you with the concept of understanding this I'll give you an analogy of the "wrongness" and we'll just forget the legality part.

Here you go. Your mom is treasurer for a church let's say and there is a fund that is derived from monies found on the grounds, parking lot or in the pews. So the church leadership agrees to just call this the church "recovery fund". Now, the pastor and some of his minions are relieved of command and he gives instructions to minions to do various things prior to their leaving. Part of this story might also involve the minions now knowing the pastor for a good period of time know his wishes pretty well. So with a wink and a nod, your mom delivers 1/3 of the money to the "daughters of the confederacy", 1/3 to "KKK moms in need" and 1/3 to the pastor's favorite pastime, "Kileen's Whore House" in N.O.

Can you site which laws were broken so that I would know where to look?

Bottom line - nobody in their right mind believes any President has the right to use taxpayer money to get himself and members of his party elected. I imagine there are 100's of red-letter campaign finance laws that cover this. Again, look it up yourself, I don't need to, because I am convinced.
