Obama Era Policies

Why are Obama Era Policies, such as net neutrality and Obama care, held by everyone in such high regard? When you hear about Trump's efforts to repeal Obamacare or the net neutrality stuff, people act like you are taking away rights held for decades. Most of his policies Trump is trying to repeal are less than 5 years old.

Because the media portrayed everything Obama did as something awesome and altruistic. They portray Trump as the exact opposite.
