He just can't be elected more than twice. As a VP, he can still be president again through succession.

I'm sure Biden is just dying to choose Obama as his VP, knowing nothing bad could ever happen if he did.

Is that why Joe wore a black mask to lay the wreath?
Was that the secret sign?

I believe it is referred to as a "sentence" if he gets one.

No, just no.
quote:
part of the 12th Amendment states that "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of president shall be eligible to that of vice president of the United States."
We talked with political experts at UNCG. They said the 12th amendment takes the guesswork out of it, and the answer is no. President Obama, or any other former president, would not be able to be vice president.
This is a safety net to keep a President from serving three terms, elected or not.

Would be rejected 9-0 by SCOTUS.

No one who is ineligible to be president can hold the office of vice president.
U.S. Const. Amd. XII.

But seriously, don't just sit and be spoon-fed. Start doing some research for yourself.

He can’t be VP for Biden but there is an easy work around that pesky rule
Just have Biden pick Michelle as VP which would in effect make Barack VP and in turn President once Biden croaks or is forced to step down

I've been waiting all day for a nice, short OP that I could immediately downvote without even a second of hesitation.
You have provided this. Thanks.
