NYTimes - GOP leader McCarthy says he thinks GOP is too white, male and old -

Changing Face of the G.O.P.
Mr. McCarthy vividly remembers the first State of the Union he attended as Republican leader back in 2019. He looked around the House chamber and felt as though there was something gravely wrong on his side of the aisle.
The Republicans were overwhelmingly old, white and male. “To be frank with you, I watched the Democrats stand up, and they looked like America,” said Mr. McCarthy, who is white. “And we looked like the most restrictive country club in America.”
“That had to change — or I was going to be the leader of a declining party,” Mr. McCarthy said.
In 2020, Republicans had already narrowed Ms. Pelosi’s majority, picking up 14 seats. Every new Republican member who flipped a seat that year was either a woman, a person of color or a veteran.
Mr. McCarthy saw a blueprint for a 2022 red wave.

American First crosses all gender and racial barriers. If he doesn’t see that he has to go.
Except…if he’s speaking to the traditional Pub RINO mix of old white guys….then he may have a point.

He should resign his seat immediately provided Gavin agrees to give it to Larry Elder.

There is something wrong with the Republican side of the aisle. It's full of cowards and idiots. Nothing is more cringe than a Republican trying to sound cool and woke.

All of these champions of inclusivity depend on excluding the white male.

This is the republican party, summed up to a tee.
America is a matter of skin pigment.
This is why these idiots deserve to lose and become a footnote in history. I just wish the leeches could get cut off from their pork-sucking as well.

...and here it starts. The GOP needs more "diversity."
ETA: Yet this GOP went out of their way to screw over a black man (Herschel Walker), a Muslim (Mehmet Oz), and a woman (Kari Lake). People like McCarthy own this shite show.

The guy is absolutely right.
Repubs have to make their Big Tent even bigger.
Just consider that 88 percent black bloc that's just craving to vote for your Party.
Plus, what percentage of the Latinos and those with heritages in the Orient are just hankering to cast their lot with you.
Repubs seem that they purposely want to miss out on the contributions of so many who understand the importance and characteristics of a constitutional Republic, and who want to see this nation continue on as a product of Western culture forever.
You're missing out on all that by just callously disregarding them.
Why deprive so many of them of sharing your Party with white Republican loyalists like Romney, Murkowski, Collins, Ryan, McCarthy himself, McConnell, Barr, Huber, Durham, and other stalwart private citizens like George Will, Billy Kristol, Wolfowitz, Cheney - the list of possibilities seems endless.
And look at the notable examples of Party loyalty realized with Colin Powell, Michael Steele, Condoleeza Rice.
Best understand how fortunate your Party is in having types like McCarthy and McConnell as parliamentarians.
Take a lesson from Rome which so benefitted from the Big Tent concept.
Am sure their Senate had some members who said, "You know, we need to offer the olive branch to these new arriving Goths, Vandals, Burgundians and other barbarians and get more of them within our gates. Rome can only benefit from the diversity."
But doubt if Cicero was in that number.
With all your attempts at inviting more diversity into your Party, it only resulted in possibly winning the House of Representatives, because moderate and leftist whites turned on you.
How do you get them in your fold?
By spewing the same psycho-babble they believe in.
It's the only way.
America needs to do everything it can to invite its own Dark Ages.
