Sounds to me like an admission of defeat.
Tell you what Skidmark, when the "press" stops being a propagandist mouthpiece for the leftist point of view to the exclusion of the truth maybe you won't be such a prime target.

I was watching Meet the Press today and the lady performing the interview basically apologizes at the onset of the interview for not being able to spin the economic reports in a negative light but then proceeded to try anyway.

The only reason the NYT has to bitch about this is that they’re worried Trump will undermine the public’s trust in the news media.
Keeping in mind that red state trust in the news media is already gone, they must be concerned about Trump eroding that trust in places like NYC.
