Not a fan of him or the NYT but thought some might be interested. Times Article

"It may be a sign of how starved we are for eloquent leadership that this speech led to talk of Landrieu as a potential presidential contender. That chatter has only picked up with the publication of Landrieu’s new book, “In the Shadow of Statues: A White Southerner Confronts History.” In Politico, Donna Brazile and James Carville were recently quoted cheering him on; Carville described him as a talent on the scale of Bill Clinton or Barack Obama."

The fact that these left wing publications (politico the other day and now NYT) think that Mitch Landrieu is going to be their savior shows how completely out of touch with reality they really are.

Carville laying it thick and deep with that one.

Landrieu is on par with Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama, not Bill and Barack.

Please run him. I can't even imagine what Trump would do to him in a debate.

Mitch has no accomplishments other than being an expert at pandering to voters.

This is who the smart dems are pushing for: A JBE type southern or midwestern white democrat.

They are the only hope to stop Trump in 2020.

Pragmatically, he has 2 very real issues in a Democratic primary. One, he's a white male.

Two, he will most likely be running against a field of legislators (Harris, Booker, Gillibrand, Warren) who will be able to really attack his "executive" experience in NOLA. The 2 executives who might run (Deval Patrick and Andrew Cuomo) both can point to better experience than Mitch.

Bottom line, he's the current media darling but is ultimately fooked

Carville has a propensity to support those that profit hugely from political power.

He knows they more they make from their power the more they have to pay him.

Hilarious that the collective progressive machine is trying to prop this fraud up.

He literally failed to keep the pumps working in New Orleans.
