NYT: Actress who started MeToo movement paid off male accuser who was 17yo at time

That claim and the subsequent arrangement for payments are laid out in documents between lawyers for Ms. Argento and Mr. Bennett, a former child actor who once played her son in a movie.

She gave a very passionate "he raped me" speech at Cannes this year.
She has also admitted that after the time he "raped" her at Cannes 10 years ago (or however many years) she had consensual sex with him.
Just watching her speech it is easy to sympathize with her, but when seeing the big picture of her actions it sounds like she might have a case of the "regret" = "rape".
