Thank you.

And I'm big into physics and astronomy ... obsessed with it even. So some of the things we saw, officers and NCOs alike, just boggled the mind.

We still talk about them at reunions today.

Neil Degrasse Tyson, I've read all of his books and have listened to him lecture ... it's over his head. He can't grasp the possibility because he's never seen it. He thinks strictly in terms of the math but then turns around and rants that God cannot exist ... but then turns around and says light speed can be exceeded because we flew, we went through the moon, yada yada ... then turns around and denies the chance of other life forms out there possibly being able to travel interested distances.

He's all over the place and is as hubristic as any church of science nutcase out there.

We know that at about 10(–35) seconds after the big bang that particles, maybe photons, we're travelling faster than the speed of light so we know it's all about locomotion to some degree ... like singularities, we just have no clue (yet) as to what happens in certain environments once our known physical limits have been exceeded.

That leaves the door wide open for alien visitation and even the possibility that they may live among us. Why some are so willing to write it off ... it's the same reason they write off faith or creationism or anything that does jive with the math.

But if they were ever to see some of the things some of us have seen they would go crazy trying to explain it to themselves.

UFO Researcher Claims Air Force Not Revealing Truth About Communication Outage At F.E. Warren Missile Site
07/07/2011 07:33 AM ET | Updated Dec 06, 2017

quote:

In Washington last September, six former Air Force officers and a former enlisted man stepped forward to say that they’d seen or had been directly involved with UFO sightings at nuclear missile sites. These sightings began at the dawn of the Cold War and continued through the 1970s.

quote:

Now, Hastings is saying three more witnesses are speaking to him about a more recent UFO sighting — and it revolves around a serious communications scare at F. E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming last October, when the military acknowledged that it had lost contact with 50 of its nuclear Minuteman III missiles.

“We’ve never had something as big as this happen,” said a military officer who had been briefed on the event, according to the The Atlantic. “We can deal with maybe 5, 6 or 7 at a time, but we’ve never lost complete command and control and functionality of 50 ICBMs.”

quote:

While news of the communication outage in the defense system was well covered, Hastings is the first to claim that the event coincided with the reported sighting of a large cigar-shaped object high above the missile field.

But Hastings tells AOL that the military was less than forthcoming about reports of the UFO sighting when the incident occurred.

quote:

Robert Salas was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. The former Air Force captain was monitoring a launch-control center equipped with 10 nuclear Minuteman missiles when UFOs appeared in the sky above them just as something unexpected occurred to the 10 defense weapons. “As we looked at the display board in front of us, the missiles began going into an unlaunchable, or no-go, mode. They couldn’t be launched — it went from green to red,” Salas told AOL, explaining how it was extraordinary that so many missiles could malfunction at the same time.

The event occurred on January 24, 2018. “My base contact described the object only as black,” the reporting witness stated. “If contacted, Malmstrom AFB will confirm the power outage but nothing more. Cigar-shaped interstellar object may have been an alien probe, Harvard paper claims
By Steve George, CNN Updated 2:01 AM ET, Tue November 6, 2018

A mysterious cigar-shaped object spotted tumbling through our solar system last year may have been an alien spacecraft sent to investigate Earth, astronomers from Harvard University have suggested. The object, nicknamed 'Oumuamua, meaning "a messenger that reaches out from the distant past" in Hawaiian, was first discovered in October 2017 by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope in Hawaii. Since its discovery, scientists have been at odds to explain its unusual features and precise origins, with researchers first calling it a comet and then an asteroid, before finally deeming it the first of its kind: a new class of "interstellar objects." Now, a new paper by researchers at the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics raises the possibility that the elongated dark-red object, which is 10 times as long as it is wide and traveling at speeds of 196,000 mph, might have an "artificial origin."

"'Oumuamua may be a fully operational probe sent intentionally to Earth vicinity by an alien civilization," they wrote in the paper, which has been submitted to the Astrophysical Journal Letters. Considering an artificial origin, one possibility is that 'Oumuamua is a light sail, floating in interstellar space as a debris from an advanced technological equipment," wrote the paper's authors, suggesting that the object could be propelled by solar radiation

In the paper, the pair theorize that the object's high speed and its unusual trajectory could be the result of it no longer being operational. Oumuamua, the first observed interstellar visitor to our solar system "This would account for the various anomalies of 'Oumuamua, such as the unusual geometry inferred from its light-curve, its low thermal emission, suggesting high reflectivity, and its deviation from a Keplerian orbit without any sign of a cometary tail or spin-up torques." 'Oumuamua is the first object ever seen in our solar system that is known to have originated elsewhere. At first, astronomers thought the rapidly moving faint light was a regular comet or an asteroid that had originated in our solar system. Comets, in particular, are known to speed-up due to a process known as "outgassing," in which the sun heats up the surface of the icy comet, releasing melted gas. But 'Oumuamua didn't have a "coma," the atmosphere and dust that surrounds comets as they melt.

COULD SOLAR RADIATION PRESSURE EXPLAIN ‘OUMUAMUA’S PECULIAR ACCELERATION? SHMUEL BIALY AND ABRAHAM LOEB
Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, 60 Garden st., Cambridge, MA, 02138 Draft version November 1, 2018

ABSTRACT ‘Oumuamua (1I/2017 U1) is the first object of interstellar origin observed in the Solar System. Recently, Micheli et al. (2018) reported that ‘Oumuamua showed deviations from a Keplerian orbit at a high statistical significance. The observed trajectory is best explained by an excess radial acceleration. Such an acceleration is naturally expected for comets, driven by the evaporating material. However, recent observational and theoretical studies imply that ‘Oumuamua is not an active comet. We explore the possibility that the excess acceleration results from Solar radiation pressure. The required mass-to-area ratio is (m/A) ˜ 0.1 g cm-2 . For a thin sheet this requires a width of 0.3 - 0.9 mm. We find that although extremely thin, such an object would survive an interstellar travel over Galactic distances of 5 kpc, withstanding collisions with gas and dust-grains as well as stresses from rotation and tidal forces. We discuss the possible origins of such an object including the possibility that it might be a lightsail of artificial origin. Our general results apply to any light probes designed for interstellar travel. Scientists are still puzzling over last year’s interstellar visitor, ‘Oumuamua, and the latest theory is sure to excite UFO believers. According to a new paper published by astronomers from Harvard University, the mammoth, cigar-shaped rock that swung in and out of our solar system in October 2017 had some strange properties that suggest it was an alien spacecraft. And while 'Oumuamua's unique physical properties have prompted some scientists to speculate about aliens, other scientists are unconvinced and even concerned about the effect of such conjecture.

"'Oumuamua may be a fully operational probe sent intentionally to Earth vicinity by an alien civilization," wrote authors Abraham Loeb, professor and chair of astronomy, and Shmuel Bialy, a postdoctoral scholar, both at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

quote:

‘Oumuamua, which is Hawaiian for "an object from afar," was first observed by a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hawaii who was sifting through the data stream from the Pan-STARRS astronomical survey of the sky. The researcher noticed the object was highly elongated, like a stick, with a long axis 10 times longer than its short axis. Researchers suggested its shape would minimize abrasions from interstellar gas and dust, thus being an ideal shape for an interstellar spacecraft.

Some have argued that it was rendered (by an artist) to look like a turd...
The intent being to further make the story harder to believe...

What if they depicted the object like this:

quote:

The name Tycho Magnetic Anomaly-1 (also known as the TMA-1) refers to the strong magnetic field found somewhere in the lunar Crater Tycho by an American scientific satellite. Astronauts find that this magnetic anomaly is caused by an alien Monolith buried about 15 meters below the surface. In the novel, when the Monolith is excavated and examined, it is found to be a black cuboid whose sides extend in the precise ratio of 1 : 4 : 9 (1² : 2² : 3²). In the novel, Clarke suggests that this sequence or ratio extends past the three known spatial dimensions into much higher dimensions.

I-Team: Race is on to solve the mystery of unknown materials
By: George Knapp Matt Adams Updated: Oct 31, 2018 11:32 PM PDT

quote:

LAS VEGAS - A global scramble is underway to identify and perhaps replicate unidentified mystery materials that have been collected at multiple sites around the world.
A few of the samples have defied analysis by leading scientists, who say they don't know how the material was engineered, or why, or by whom?

quote:

Scientists now want to know if the materials used in these mystery aircraft allow them to do what they do. For years, one of the secret studies was carried out by BAASS (Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies), a Las Vegas operation hidden within Bigelow Aerospace. Documents first reported by the I-Team show that BAASS landed a contract with the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), and one of the objectives was to study so called metamaterials, as well as futuristic technologies.

"It was a multilayered bismuth and magnesium sample. Bismuth layers less than a human hair. Magnesium samples about 10 times the size of a human hair, supposedly picked up in the crash retrieval of an advanced aerospace vehicle. It looks like it's been in a crash," said Dr. Hal Puthoff, with the Institute for Advanced Studies during a presentation in Las Vegas.

quote:

This one sample is engineered in layers thinner than microns, through a process unknown on earth, and for a purpose we can only guess. "Nowhere could we find any evidence that anybody ever made one of these when we talked to people in the materials field who should know, they said we don't know why anybody would want to make anything like this," Dr. Puthoff said.

quote:

"What our international efforts are to potentially -- and I say potentially, I'm not saying we're doing this, maybe to replicate that technology or to reverse engineer that technology. Now you're getting into sensitivities you don't necessarily want everyone to be privy to," Elizondo said in a June 2018 interview with the I-Team.

Insiders Give Clues About What’s Next
NOVEMBER 10, 2018

quote:

The UFO/UAP research community spends a lot of time hunting down and deciphering what will come next in the field. What will be the next big story? What will TTSA’s next big announcement be and when will it be released to the public? Thanks to members of TTSA, insiders and people in the know, we are able to make some educated guesses on what to expect. In only the last twelve months there has been more information released for public consumption than arguably in the history of the subject. Will 2019 be the biggest year yet

quote:

2. Luis Elizondo speaking about the Rendlesham Forest Incident at the CUN Conference on October 27th, 2018:

“U.S. service members assigned in England, over a period of three days, encounter what cannot be described as anything else than extraordinary. The events that occurred those three days make the movie “Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind,” look amateur. Several of those individuals, that were involved in that incident, I had the privilege of debriefing myself. Furthermore, information involving this incident, within the next four months, will be forthcoming. Further giving the world a better appreciation of what occurred those three nights.”

quote:

5. George Knapp speaking about TTSA’s ADAM Research Project on KLAS Las Vegas October 11th, 2018: “So what comes next? Well, one of the goals announced a year ago was the collection and analysis of anomalous materials, that is, bits and pieces of metals or so-called metamaterials, scraps that may have been stashed away for decades. They’re now undergoing the most advanced analysis possible. We’ve already heard hints that some materials appear to be beyond anything known to modern engineering. A formal announcement about those findings is expected after the first of the year.

quote:

6. George Knapp speaking about the politicians who killed AAWSAP on Phenomenon Radio, published October 13th, 2018: “…it’s true. There is a group of people in high-level positions and one of these days their names are going to come out and the steps that they took to kill the program, to syphon the money away…”

quote:

Roger Marsh recounting his conversation with Luis Elizondo on “Midnight in the Desert,” August 8th, 2018: “So, [Elizondo] told me, and I don’t think that Lue Elizondo would say anything to me he’s not permitted to say…but he told me privately that there are MANY more videos that are going to be released in the near future and they’re going to be even better…more spectacular than the first three. And he’s telling me that in the next wave of information, and he says…basically…hang onto your bootstraps…that the next wave of information is coming as early as January or February, 2019.

quote:

Jeremy Corbell on Phenomenon Radio published September 28th, 2018: “I will tell you this now and I will be proven right later, but I’ll put it on the record now, that there are multiple UFO programs going at this time that are not being named right now, and there are four in particular that will probably come out.”

Could Earth Have Been Seeded With Life?

November 10, 2018 Add Comment

quote:

How did life begin? The biggest question mankind has asked itself. Where did we come from? The idea that gods from the heavens had provided the seed of life has been supported by many researchers. End of the day we may have been looking into the correct direction: a breakthrough study claims that the so-called building blocks of life, the elements that are the backbone of organic molecules which form living matter, came to Earth from outer space.

quote:

Evidence of seeding

According to a team of researchers from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and their colleagues from France and Taiwan, phosphates and diphosphoric acid, two major chemicals that form chromosomes carrying our genetic information, were generated billions of kilometers away from our planet and were delivered to Earth by space wanderers such as asteroids or comets. The scientists used a vacuum chamber cooled down to near absolute zero to simulate interstellar icy grains coated with carbon dioxide, water, and phosphine. When exposed to radiation, these grains created both phosphates and diphosphoric acid. “On Earth, phosphine is lethal to living beings,” said Andrew Turner of the University of Hawaii. “But in the interstellar medium, an exotic phosphine chemistry can promote rare chemical reaction pathways to initiate the formation of biorelevant molecules such as oxoacids of phosphorus, which eventually might spark the molecular evolution of life as we know it.” Scientists suggested that these phosphorus oxoacids could be traced back to an interstellar medium, the materials that fill the space between stars, which are delivered to Earth by comets or meteorites.

quote:

There are suggestions that aliens escape from an unknown planet and come here due to dire circumstances on their home planets and most likely we are descendants of this race. Environmentalist and ecologist turned author Dr. Ellis Silver believes we may have come from Alpha Centauri. The planet may have suffered some type of cataclysmic event from which a few residents were able to escape and come to Earth.

Other scientists believe that, eons ago, Humanoids inhabited Mars but a war destroyed the livability of the planet. This could have been due to the equivalent of two hydrogen bombs exploding on Mars 300,000 to 1 million years ago. Is it possible some living beings were able to escape to Earth before the destruction? There are many mysteries and controversial theories for which there seems to be more questions than answers.

quote:

A Martian State of Mind Did the CIA really astrally project to Mars in 1984? We asked a psychic spy.
By Jacob Brogan

quote:

By any ordinary standard, successfully sending humans to Mars would be an astonishing triumph—a world-historical feat for the nation (or corporation) that manages to pull it off first. Talk to the right people, though, and you might be surprised to learn that more than 30 years ago the U.S. military accomplished just that.

You’ll find the evidence of it in a document freely available on the public “Reading Room” section of Central Intelligence Agency’s website. (Credit where it’s due: The friend who brought this treasure to my attention said he learned about it through the Mysterious Universe podcast.) Contextual details are scarce in the document, which goes under the unassuming title “Mars Exploration: May 22, 1984.” A brief explanatory note indicates that “the subject” was given a sealed envelope “immediately prior to the interview” but was instructed not to open it yet. During the interview itself, the subject only had verbal access to “[s]elected geographic coordinates, provided by the parties requesting the information.”

quote:

Subject]: … I’m seeing, ah … It’s like a perception of a shadow of people, very tall … thin, it’s only a shadow. It’s as if they were there and they’re not, not there anymore.

[Monitor]: Go back to a period of time where they are there.

Sub: … Um … (mumble) It’s like I get a lot of static on a line and everything, it’s breaking up all the time, very fragmentary pieces.

Mon: Just report the data, don’t try to put things together, just report the raw data.

Sub: I just keep seeing very large people. They appear thin and tall, but they’re very large. Ah … wearing some kind of strange clothes.

quote:

As the subject does, he describes some of the sites of interest that he notices, including a large “obelisk” that reminds him of the Washington Monument, “rounded bottom carved channels, like road beds,” and, most strikingly, “pyramids … like shelters from storms.” In those structures, he finds the shadowy people he had seen before, hibernating. “They’re an ancient people,” he tells the monitor. “They’re ah … they’re dying, it’s past their time or age.”

quote:

The 3-by-5-inch card in the sealed envelope—which, remember, supposedly went unseen until all these visions had faded—provides some clue as to what the subject was witnessing. Like the dateline of some LSD-soaked cartoon, it read,

The planet Mars.
Time of interest approximately 1 million years B.C.

This is, in other words, a purportedly real record of some real intelligence service’s attempt to visit another world through astral projection while examining its distant past.

The Origins of Directed Panspermia
By Christian Orlic on January 9, 2013

quote:

The Earth is beaming with life and yet there is no consensus on how life arose or what life is. The origin of life is “one of the great unsolved mysteries of science” (Crick, F. Life Itself). While there is no accepted definition of life, most of us [humans] can easily discriminate the living from the non-living (IrisFry’s Book is a good primer on ideas regarding the origins of life). Questions about the origin of life became more prevalent after Pasteur and others showed that life did not arise spontaneously. The discovery that the raw components of life are present throughout the universe suggests that life could exist elsewhere, and that the origin of life as we know it may have depended on materials that arrived on Earth via inter-stellar travel. Some scientists have speculated that life itself originated elsewhere and made its way to earth.

quote:

Francis Crick (who co-discovered the structure of DNA with James Watson) and Leslie Orgel once proposed that life on Earth was the result of a deliberate infection, designed by aliens who had purposely fled mother nature’s seed to a new home in the sun. Crick repeatedly addressed the question of the origin of life between 1971 and 1988 (I am currently working on a historical study of Crick and Orgel’s theory of Directed Panspermia and its reception).

Crick and Orgel proposed their Directed Panspermia theory at a conference on Communication with Extraterrestrial Intelligence, organized by Carl Sagan and held at the Byuraka Observatory in Soviet Armenia in 1971. This theory which they described as an “highly unorthodox proposal” and “bold speculation” was presented as a plausible scientific hypothesis. Two years after the conference they published an article in Icarus on 1973.

quote:

In 2012 a movie called Prometheus was released. In this stunning movie human scholars find similarities between archeological sites from ancient civilizations separated by centuries have drawn the same pictogram. The archeologists conclude that the pictogram must be a map, an invitation, from the “engineers” who not only designed us but have intervened in our affairs. The movie is set in 2093 and researchers decide to go and find them in a quest to further understand the origins of mankind. Despite its several and severe scientific flaws, Prometheus is an interesting film because it addresses that ever mysterious quest to unveil not only how we came to be but how life began.

For those who watched the movie, remember these 2 “educated” guys fumble around the pyramid (in the dark) in their ignorance and do silly things (one is arrogant, the other is scared /domain dependent, not by chance...)

“I like rocks, not giant dead fricking bodies”
Interesting that he was transformed into a weapon (of sorts...)

The guy on the right is a biologist (who gives reverence to Darwin earlier in the film). The guy on the left is a geologist.

Both are sacrificed (in a very purposeful way...)
I suspect that Ridley Scott had a broader message to convey if one is open to it...

The term derives from Ancient Greek: ????ß????,[4] from ???? (oura), "tail"[5] + ß??? (bora), "food",[6] from ß?ß??s?? (bibrosko), "I eat".[7]

quote:

The ouroboros appears elsewhere in Egyptian sources, where, like many Egyptian serpent deities, it represents the formless disorder that surrounds the orderly world and is involved in that world's periodic renewal.[9] The symbol persisted in Egypt into Roman times, when it frequently appeared on magical talismans, sometimes in combination with other magical emblems.[10] The 4th-century AD Latin commentator Servius was aware of the Egyptian use of the symbol, noting that the image of a snake biting its tail represents the cyclical nature of the year.[11

That scene (considered silly by many) should now make more sense...

An Alien Code May Be Hidden Inside Our DNA!

quote:

A new paper published in the journal Icarus is suggesting that the best way for an extraterrestrial civilization to communicate across stellar distances is to send messages embedded within genetic code. It’s an interesting take on the panspermia hypothesis, one the scientists hope will lead to “biological SETI.”

The authors of the paper, Vladimir Shcherbak and Maxim Makukov, summarize their argument like this:

The code is a flexible mapping between codons [the initial nucleotide from which translation starts] and amino acids, and this flexibility allows modifying the code artificially. But once fixed, the code might stay unchanged over cosmological timescales; in fact, it is the most durable construct known. Therefore it represents an exceptionally reliable storage for an intelligent signature.

quote:

The intelligent signature, say Shcherbak and Makukov, could be delivered through space and time. Consequently, they conclude that our genetic code “may have been invented outside the solar system already several billion years ago.”

Irish authorities investigate UFO sightings by commercial pilots

BA and Virgin pilots report seeing bright lights that disappeared at high speed

quote:

The Irish Aviation Authority is investigating after an unidentified flying object was sighted by pilots flying over Ireland.

On the morning of 9 November the pilot of British Airways flight BA94 from Montreal called air traffic control in Shannon to report seeing an object moving past her aircraft, and asked if there were any military exercises taking place off the west coast of Ireland.

“It was moving so fast,” she said. “It came up on our left-hand side and then rapidly veered to the north. It was a very bright light that disappeared at very high speed.”

According to a recording of the conversation by Airlive, a site for enthusiasts, the pilot was told there were no military exercises in the area. “There’s nothing showing on either primary or secondary [radar],” air traffic control said, according to the report.

The pilot said her plane and the object were not on a collision course, but she was “wondering” what it could be.

Other aircraft flying in the area reported the same thing. A pilot, flying a Virgin Airlines plane from Orlando to Manchester described the sight as a “meteor or another object making some kind of re-entry”, adding it seemed to be “multiple objects following the same sort of trajectory – very bright from where we were.”

Another pilot also weighed in, saying: “Glad I’m not the only one.”

Glad they clarified that

Lets go to the tape folks (to hear what they are not reporting...)

Listen As Multiple Airline Pilots Report Very High-Speed Unidentified Objects Over Ireland

Something very strange occurred in the pre-dawn skies over southwest Ireland on November 9th, 2018 and we have a recording to prove it.

BY TYLER ROGOWAY AND JOSEPH TREVITHICKNOVEMBER 12, 2018

quote:

The Irish Aviation Authority is investigating a new mysterious aviation incident that recently occurred over the country. The details are similar in some respects to reported sightings of unidentified flying objects over Oregon, Arizona, and New York, incidents that The War Zone was the first to report on.

In the pre-dawn hours on Nov. 9, 2018, about 45 minutes before sunrise, at least three different airliners flying over or off the coast of southwestern Ireland reported seeing multiple unidentified objects flying near them at incredible speed. Authorities in Ireland confirmed they were looking into the situation on Nov. 12, 2018, but offered no additional information.

quote:

She further explained that the object had appeared as a "very bright light" and had flown along the left side of their 787 before it "rapidly veered to the north" and then "disappeared at very high speed." There is no indication of concerns about a possible collision.

quote:

A second pilot, flying a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 and using the callsign Virgin 76, then joined the radio conversation to say that they too had seen more than one bright light or even "multiple objects following the same sort of trajectory." He repeated the details about the objects being very bright and moving at extremely high speeds, likening their appearance to an object re-entering the earth's atmosphere from space.

"Glad it wasn't just me," someone chimed in at one point. "No, ah, yeah, very interesting that one," the pilot of Virgin 76 replied and noted that the two very bright objects went from 11 o'clock off their nose before climbing away at high speed.

quote:

A third individual – it's unclear whether they were onboard Speedbird 94, Virgin 76, or a third plane – said they were going so fast it was "astronomical, it was like Mach 2.”

The entire audio is available here. It begins 17:50 and ends right after the 20:00 minute mark.

quote:

While objects regularly enter the earth's atmosphere, and some are quite spectacular looking if they make it to lower altitudes, they do not fly up alongside aircraft, make hard lateral maneuvers, and then accelerate away at high speed. And they definitely don't climb away after descending. Pilots see shooting stars more than most and they aren't children who comment on just any pretty sight they see with air traffic controllers. This was clearly a very unusual occurrence as seen from the cockpit.

WHAT IS ARECIBO MESSAGE? NEW GOOGLE DOODLE CELEBRATES HUMANKIND'S FIRST ATTEMPT TO CONTACT SPACE ALIENS
BY JASON MURDOCK ON 11/16/18 AT 6:22 AM

Today’s Google Doodle, likely to excite space fanatics around the world, is celebrating the 44th anniversary of the Arecibo Message, the firm announced on its blog. It was a scientific first—as experts at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico blasted a short radio message into space. It was a largely symbolic attempt to communicate with intelligent life that may be lurking beyond our planet, but was also a way to mark the upgrade to the Arecibo Radio Telescope, according to the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute.

“The transmission consisted of a simple, pictorial message, aimed at our putative cosmic companions in the globular star cluster M13,” the SETI Institute explained on its website.
