NY Times OP ed works in Trump's favor...

Most freedom loving Americans don't like the idea of some pretentious mole actively working to impede the President that was duly elected from the shadows.
It only confirms and amplifies the reasons a lot of people voted for Trump.
If it's real or not.

Stunts like this would probably work better before the mainstream print media joined hands in open opposition to Trump three weeks ago.
You don't bet after you show your hand.

I think it’s real.
It was written by an unselfaware member of Paul Ryan’s wing of the Republican Party. I’ve said on this board before I’m confused about why they think they have some mandate. They don’t. They never did. Now this a-hole is admitting they don’t have a mandate for their globalist new world order horseshite, but he believes it’s better for us so he can just go Ahead and enact it bc the great unwashed are too stupid to know what is best for us.
I didn't vote for Trump because he was polite. I voted for him because he was impolite and I liked his policy agenda. And I fricking hate Jeb!’s, John McCain’s, Mitt Romney’s et al.
These people have been working against Trump since the primaries. They don’t think he’s a “real” Republican. They don’t think he’s in their club. They just don’t believe he fits in. With their worldview. Or their manners.
The guy who wrote this has his head so far up his own arse - he doesn’t realize he confessed to being the Deep State. He doesn’t realize that he was rejected as much as Hillary Clinton in the election. While sneering at those of us in flyover country in our tin foil hats who know it’s there.
frick the establishment. All of it.

I’m as critical of Trump as anyone in this board, but that op ed said nothing that I didn’t already believe was true.
It hurts Trump because it’s yet another staffer acting out against a president who values loyalty over everything.
It hurts America because it distracts a president who chases shiny hooks.

Trump is stupid is a silly thing that everyone has heard before. This is a very old play that has already been run in this game to no avail. Calling Trump stupid is not going to affect anything.
The fact that it comes from an anonymous source in the fricking New York Times actually strengthens Trump imo. It just highlights the media’s shilling. No one believes the media. Their ability to move the needle is zilch. Their gameplan is known.
This matters not. As a Trump voter, it only further hardens my support for our President and everyone I know feels the same way. There will have to be something real to lose my support. An unknown someone calling him stupid in a liberal rag isn’t enough to even stir the breeze.
Now onto the next outrage.

They were in opposition to Trump as soon as he announced. They have been joined in opposition with the Democrats for decades.

True, but they didn't officially declare it in print.

And yet has managed to do more in 1 year than the previous clown did in 8. Great job on that one.

Until I get a name with an admission, I'm dismissing it as fake.
It does however reinforce how vast and deep the swamp is.

Confirmation bias is the only thing that is real about this nyt situation.

The establishments uncontrollable fear of a successful administration is coming true. They can't believe it and want to stop him at any cost.

I can't remember her name but the woman who was a former communications director for both Obama and Hillary stated that given her experience with the way the New York Times sources things it wouldn't surprise her if this was actually some junior associate so far down the totem pole that no one has ever heard of him before who is the source.

It didn't say anything that hasn't already been said or suggested. TDS goes both ways. He is not evil incarnate and he is not Reagan, Goldwater, and both Roosevelts all rolled into one. To think either is deranged.
The article paints him as a guy blustering his way through a job. I can buy that.
