Uh, duh? An immigration policy that favors those who can be a net positive for America is a good thing, right?
And limiting immigration for people who will enter America and immediately put a drain on already over-burdened taxpayers is also a good thing, right?

Yea I’m so confused as to how this is controversial at all. Of course we want immigrants that will be contributors to society. This is common sense and is something that every country does. They’re just looking to be offended by something.

As in wealthier = more educated? Yes, that’s what we want. We need people who can help us design top of the line weaponry and cure cancer and such, and not those who will be on the government teat.

It is NOT a statue of immigration, it is a Statue of LIBERTY!! It is a light to the world, to lift up yourselves, by adopting freedom... because ALL men are created equal, not just Americans.
