Nursing home scandal moves to Whitmer. Who are the fact checkers now?

quote:
"And there is no evidence of a Deep State "murderous plan to defy federal guidelines" by moving people with the disease out of hospitals and into nursing homes. This did happen -- moving people into nursing homes to make more hospital beds for COVID-19 patients -

- in New York under Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, for example, but there is no evidence Cuomo intended to "murder" these patients by doing so. Up to one-third of all deaths from COVID-19 have occurred in nursing homes, where many people have underlying conditions that contribute to getting the disease.

And certainly there is no evidence that the states of New York, New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania and Michigan engaged in a coordinated effort to oversee "the genocide of our elderly loved ones," as the video claims, and push a liberal agenda of fear from the virus as cover for their agenda to take control of America, shutter churches and other places of faith needed during difficult times under a "despotic plan.""

Several dem govs were dumb enough to order covid patients into nursing homes. Did they get together and decide it was some kind of a civil rights issue to not discriminate against people with covid?

That was ignorant, profoundly stupid, and criminally negligent homicide of the elderly.

I bet most weren't in private pay facilities.

Who could blame them for trying to save a little money on elder care?

Consider it a not so death panel.

Sad, murderous dems strike again. Who is next?

They believed the projections for hospital capacity. That was stupid.

That is definitely stupid, but not evil. What’s evil is pretending they did nothing wrong and then actually blaming other people. Cuomo blames the staffs of the nursing homes. frick him to hell.

Part of Cuomo's order was that infected staff could not be laid off due to covid thus preventing them from being quarantined.

DeSantis did his homework, understood the real risks and did the opposite of what these dumb dems did. It worked as well as policy could.

It’s almost like someone needed numbers for a “get rid of Trump” campaign.

Not being laid off and not being quarantined are two separate things.

This is how you know this is exactly what happened.

...and these are the same people who called Donald Trump a despot and dictator. Executive orders are not law, Stretchin' Gretchen.

But they didn't INTEND to kill anybody. I really can't wait until some lawyer uses this defense in a DWI vehicular homicide case.

Hospitals were paid 19,000 per covid patient and 39,000 if they were put on a ventilator. How much was paid out via taxes or other charges to Cuomo, Whitmer etc?

We will agree to disagree.

Intentionally sending highly contagious people to an enclave of the most vulnerable of society is evil. At that point, there is no way to deflect from the decisions that were made at the time.

Covering up the act only servers to highlight the depravity of these governors imho.

You make a good point. I guess mine was that the original decision could have potentially not been evil.

many people on this board condemned it as it happened. common sense told you it was borderline evil, at best.

I’m not arguing. I’ll try to be more clear. The original decision alone could have been UN-evil and just really misguided or stupid. What has happened since had made it clear that it was evil.

Well, there was a hospital ship provided for them in NY harbor that they could haves used to prevent this.

Seems premeditated to me.
