This is the damn breaking. Moore won't be a sitting Senator.

Cory Gardner, NRSC chairman, says Senate should vote to expel Roy Moore if he wins "because he does not meet the ethical and moral requirements of the United States Senate."

The senate is going to start expelling people for unsubstantiated non-criminal PR reasons?

I'd love to have a long hard look at the ethical and moral requirements of the Senate. Let's break that down to every senator.

The governor must do the moral thing and call off the election. She has the authority to do so, and it would be the right thing to do.

Don't force 60%+ of the state to choose between a democrat and a gross, dirty pedophile. Throw the 60%+ of voters a bone, cancel the election, and get sessions or strange or brooks on the ballot.

Couldn't Strange do the same thing by simply resigning?

It’s insane that we have to consider something simply expected and appropriate courageous because of the impact of Trump/Bannonism.

This has proven more morally corrosive than every tranny bathroom in all Christendom.

What happens if he is expelled? Another special election? Ivey appoints someone else?

I would love to see it happen. The theatrics would be very entertaining. The blow back will be epic.

I'm pretty sure the Governor would be able to appoint someone else and hold another election. I believe she retains the ability to delay the election as of now, in any case.

I would gracefully accept the nomination, but if not, please Ms. Ivey appoint Mo Brooks.

McConnell hates Mo Brooks.

I would love to see it though.

No.

This is a dangerous precedent of convicting folks before things are proven - and this is being seen with the hollywood scandals too.

I'm not saying the women are untruthful, but I'm saying everyone needs to pump the damn brakes.
