They had 2 ladies whose stance on abortion has changed over time.

Lady #1 was raised in a strict Christian home and was strongly pro life until getting to college and coming out as a lesbian.
She claims to have been raped at a party in college and decided that, if pregnant, she would abort. That’s the moment she started supporting pro choice causes.

Lady #2 Grew up pro choice and volunteered at Planned Parenthood while in college. After working in the clinic for a while, she was asked to stand in for the absent radiologist tech and hold the ultrasound wand so the Dr could see his “target”. She watched in horror as the 10-week fetus nudged away from the abortion tool. She quit immediately after the abortion andvstarted supporting pro life causes.

This leads me to a couple of questions:
1. How many abortions are sctually due to rape? It has to be less than 5%, doesn’t it?

2. What does PP tell volunteers they do?

I’m kind of on the fence about abortion.
While I know it’s taking a life, I also know that a majority of these fetuses are of poor genetic stock, would grow up in poor conditions, and would likely end up living on government assistance...which only leads us 1 step closer to the coming idiocracy.

However, lady #2’s story of watching the fetus actively try to avoid the Dr’s tool pushes me into the pro life camp.

Like she said, "hold this so I don't miss the target"

"boom. There goes the dominos! Next, I got a Happy Hour to make"

Look I get why some women get an abortion. What I cannot understand is how a person can purposely dismember a fetus in utero like NPR #2 lady describes. Abortionists as described by NPR#2 just scream evil incarnate. I’m convinced if there really is a “serial killer” gene, these are the folks who would probably possess it yet found a legal avenue to express those desires.

BTW, NPR lady’s stance was clearly all based on hypotheticals where as NPR #2 was clearly based on real world experience.

Majority rule sucks (lol abortion pun) if you’re in the minority.

I bet we aborted the kid who could solve climate change. Change my mind.

Frankly, if climate change were man-made, you would have 60,000,000 to be right.

FAR less. Comically less

alas if you had an abortion ban that included a rape exception women claiming they've been raped would be multiplied by a factor of 10

tells me all I need to know

her affinity for abortion has more to do with hating men than the reproductive rights of women

You realize that it wasn't actively trying to avoid the tool, right? A primitive reflex at most. Probably not even that at 10 weeks and it was caused by differences in pressure. Even plants turn towards sunlight.

Or develop the AIDs vaccine.

Or solve cold fusion

Or become the first woman to step foot on Mars

Or solve the Korea problem and reunite the countries peacefully.

Or solve how to protect the Earth from extinction by space objects.

Or create a cure for Alzheimer's disease.

I could go on and on. We really don't know WHAT we are depriving ourselves from God's plan for us.

Rape has no real meaning anymore as feminists and liberals have completely bastardized it.

I mean I know a girl that was working the desk at a hotel when two illegals busted in. One watched the door while the other raped her behind the counter.

That’s now equated in the same way as a chick that got drunk at a party and made bad life decisions and then woke up next to a random dude in bed and realized her bad decisions.

This world is just fricking stupid.

This is a problem, the left is teaching that,

if you regret having sex it means you’ve been raped

If you think that taking a human life is justified by its value to society then you scare the hell out of me.

There were 99,856 forcible rape cases reported in the US in 2017.

5% of rape cases result in pregnancy

70% of women that became pregnant from rape carry full term

That would leave abortions because of rape in 2017 at around >1500

There are currently 900k abortions performed each year in the US, so abortions from rape are less than 0.17%

If those who were raped and chose to take a $50 plan-b pill instead of a $350 abortion, then the number of abortions due to rape would be eliminated.
