NPR Is Getting Upset: “When Is Germany Going To Start Talking Tough To The US?

Just now, from interview with German defense minister.
“I know you are trying to be diplomatic, but really, when is Germany going to start talking tough to the US? Don’t you think you need to take a stand against this?”
German defense minister demurred, further annoying the npr people.
Remember, this outrage is because the President is asking an ally to live up to the agreement and responsibility they are obliged to and take some measure to help defend themselves.
Also, npr disputed the notion that Germany is held hostage by their dependence on Russian natural gas....
“Germany gets 20% of their energy from Russian natural gas, that’s not a lot. They have a lot of windmills.”
I’m not joking. Word. For. Word. What they said.
