Hmmm could it be because he is making baseless claims about how the election was stolen from him then encouraging his followers to fight which inevitably led to his supporters rushing the capitol? Maybe? Nah... probably not right?

They are trying to stop his upcoming pardons, which I hope include Snowden and Assange as well as himself, family and friends. They are also scared to death the he will declassify documents that will expose them for the snakes that they are. They are scared shitless that he will burn it all down on his way out. I hope he will!

I think it's fairly obvious that LEO tried to keep the crowd behind the barriers. Once that failed, they were overrun and couldn't stop them from entering the doors of the Capitol.
