Of all those previous bombshells and investigations, almost all were duds. Comey, Page, and their ilks are still running free.

I think the most we can hope for is that Obama’s reputation and legacy are completely ruined and that history remembers him as the dirtiest President in history. He already is in the eyes of those who’ve been paying attention. I want more people to know who he truly is.
And just imagine the things that he did while in office that we don’t know and may never know.

Maybe I misread it, but that is not how I took it.
Some of the Rs are probably afraid of their own exposure for their own dirty deeds. Some may want to appear objective so the results will not appear biased.
In the end I see a smidgen raised to exponential levels of bull shite Obama that is guilty. A giant stain on his legacy. That will have a profound effect on his profound ego.

No. Rush said the same thing yesterday. They don’t go after former Presidents, and they don’t want to set a precedent that you can. Because if they do, no former President would be safe from endless investigations and scrutiny.

They will get away with it.
The deep state will convince people these crimes can’t come to light because it would destroy the country by forever destroying the presidency. They will say there are bigger things at stake like the preservation of American institutions. Don’t burn down America because of the actions of a few!

All this worry about senate pubs, irrelevant. This is an executive branch matter, trump is in charge. We do not need perp walks for this to be a total victory.

I agree with you but that article is disingenuous by making it sound like all the republicans rebuked Trump.
Not so.
A few (Graham, Thune, Cornyn) walked back Trump’s aggressive words while Grassley remained non committal.
But of course Trump will have to drag them along because they don’t really want to touch this.

He was talking about what has happened historically, and certainly, the first black President is not going to be the person who they reverse actions on.
Certainly, the Dems might try and change this with Trump, but he isn’t wrong on Obama.
