Time to set the record straight on The Elf. He recused to protect the Rule of Law? Then the moron offers his resignation because he realizes he'd unleashed a gross insult on that same rule as a result of his alleged nobility.
The gutless little bastard KNEW what was happening was a massive miscarriage of justice brought on by his actions. A grotesque plot far outstripping any ethical concerns he supposedly had and one his deputy was leading. He'd unleashed a monster called Rosenstein.
One of historical proportions and enough of one that he offered to resign if his concerns are to be believed. Knowing this, he COULD AND WAS DUTY BOUND to step in and end this, but he didn't have the guts.
Knowing this, why should we the people of Alabama put him in any position of authority? When the country needed him, he wasn't there.

He cited the wrong statute when he recused himself. He had done nothing wrong. Had a brief conversation by chance with the same Russian Ambassador that had talked to countless dems. He didn't recuse himself on things related just to Russia. He handed over his job and responsibilities to the deep stater Rosenstein.
He was willing to let Trump and his family be tormented by their enemies because he couldn't take criticism. The bastard has a nerve for even running. He will be totally embarrassed.

And as a Senator at that, not as Attorney General.

What you need to know about Sessions recusing himself is most people don't even remember why he recused himself, hence he didn't need to recuse himself to begin with. This wasn't Carter Page recusing himself.

He didn't have to recuse himself. He was suckered into it by the Deep State stooges that he thinks are always right. The guy is a lawyer, he knows the law, he knows he absolutely DID NOT have to recuse himself. He did it for appearances and because it was the "safe" choice for him, but he abandoned his job in the process because he lacks the balls to be the AG. If he did have to recuse as the chief lawyer of the country he should have known this, and never should have taken the job in the first place.

FricK Cut and Run Sessions.

You see, he didn't have to recuse himself. That is just the out his swamp buddies gave him. When the going got tough, Sessions got out. He is a coward who lacks the political stomach to fight. I don't care what his words are because I have seen him in action. He has been weighed and measured and found wanting. Tubbs may suck and become a swamp rat himself. But I already know Sessions is.
Alabama Fans for Tuberville !
... have you actually looked at Sessions track record as a Senator? I didn't like some bills be supported, but he got it right most of the time. He was all over Immigration before most. I heard him talk about immigration issues on the Senate floor, with many immigrants in the balcony. It was an amazing thing to witness. This was before Trump was even a candidate. But, go ahead, put Six Fingers in the DC Swamp and see what you get.

It's going to be funny watching Tubby going the way of Mumbai Mike Lee, Grahamnesty and Thom Tillis.

You sucking off GOPe Sessions isn't a good look.

You and Trump sucking off the candidate that's opposed by our hardworking agents at ICE and CBP and the premier advocacy organization for gun rights isn't a good look.

He should have known it was a possibility and not even put himself up for AG. Either he knew and did it anyway, or he's an idiot.
Also, he did not have to recuse himself. No court could make him (separation of powers).

Jim Comey and Obama literally kept Sally Yates out of the loop and she was the acting Attorney general at the time and she found out from Obama about the investigation and Comey didn't tell her they were interviewing Flynn until it was literally happening at that point.
You really think Comey was going to tell Jeff Sessions after that or he would let anyone in the FBI or DOJ tell him?

Russia collusion was all over the fricking news!
They had already gotten Flynn bounced before Trump even took office for normal Russia "contacts."
Sessions should have known he'd be front and center on this shite.
Regardless, HE DID NOT HAVE TO RECUSE HIMSELF. He did, and left Trump twisting in the wind.

"I care more about stopping amnesty and out of control immigration and Tubby wants more of that. He will be just like Graham and Thom Tillis in that regard."
Yep. The country is literally being stolen from us, as ringers are brought in by the boatload.
"Tuberville's a coward who is rightly too afraid to debate me. He says you're wrong on China & trade. He wants to bring in even more foreign workers to take American jobs. That's not your agenda and it's not mine or Alabama's. I know Alabama. Tuberville doesn't."

While Sessions' sentiments about trade and illegal aliens are dead on for this state, he's dead in the water if he continues to say things like "Tuberville doesn't know Alabama".

Jay Dardenne cynically sold his endorsement to JBE and took a job in his administration and has been a huge shill for JBE's tax and spend agenda despite running as a conservative candidate.
That's our problem Sentrius. We have never ever in the state of Louisiana elected a true conservative as governor, not one. Same could be said for this legislature it's full of rinos. Out of all those Republicans I bet you we have got in both the House and Senate 15 true conservatives.... This state will never change and will always remain dead last until we elect a true conservative as governor. Had Vitter been elected this state would be kicking arse right now.

I'm sorry Tuberville didn't pay for their endorsement.
