What a miserable pick that was. Trumps last few picks Grennel/Radcliff have been spot on but I think it took him a while to learn he was getting played by his own team.

And they get zero trouble out of it.

In fact, Trump has followed that tract after the Comey debacle and he has been very much more reserved about the way he fires people.

He's does it as quietly and nicely as possible like asking for their resignation or announcing this official will be moving on to something better and wishing them the best of luck or he just simply has the press secretary announce the firing.

And he didn't sit down for another interview with any network not named Fox for a very long time after that.

They were accusing the president of being a Russian asset. He should have went scorched earth. He was much nicer than I would have been.

Which is unfortunate - The amount of heads that still need to roll is mind boggling. Lots of leaking shite bags and GOPE pussies still sucking the govt tit.

The media is essentially a super pac for dems including fox. He's not blind to the game their playing. Unfortunately the GOPE is also playing that little game. Gotta get rid of cats like Sessions. He's been on the payroll for too long and someone has his dick in a sling. Time for him to go.

Let them.

Meanwhile don't play stupid games like saying he was fired because of Russia and leaving it at that.

If there was a time where Trump needed to let his comms shop and surrogates speak for him, it was one of those times.

His own staff tried to convince him to refuse the interview and he didn't listen to them. Should've taken their advice.

The democrats play by different rules. No way on gods green earth would a fricking liberal recuse themselves under political pressure. They will go down dying on the cross before they let their ideology falter. Republicans - specifically weak dick republicans like Sessions try to play honorably when the other side will cut your fricking throat and shite down your neck.

With the media on their side, the Dems can play by whatever rules they want while the Republicans will be outed for the smallest misstep. Hell, Biden can make the most racially charged statement imaginable and the media is already trying to cover for him less than 24 hours later.

The double standard is exactly the point. They will do it, and they will get away with it because the media will let them. Republicans would be crucified by the media if they played by the same rules as the dems. Sessions stepping back kept them from having any ammo whatsoever.

Hell, in football it's always the second guy who gets the flag, not the first.

Case and point why Conservatives will still allow the race card, the media , and everyone else to get what they want because you think he was wrong and should have went about anything he did in some other way instead of attacking the conspirators. You are actually blaming Trump for fighting back in a rigged game. Think about that for a minute. You think Trump should play nice knowing full well everything that you know about the entire spy gate, dossier, russian hoax scam that was pulled. That's a real problem. It's unfortunate that you can't see it.

You would be a walking and talking engine of political malpractice and PR disaster if you were in political office.

Thank god you're not.

You still don't get it.

When Trump fired the State IG last week, he waited for a friday news dump and let his comms shop speak for him and spoke in the most prepared form possible.

That's a good firing.

He literally just did that with the State IG last week who he fired.

And you know what's the good thing here?

It's not a story anymore and no one cares because Trump handled it correctly and quietly.

You're talking like a partisan idiot not grounded in real world practice.

Chris Christie suggested Christopher Wray supposedly. Jeff Sessions played him for a fool. The entire Senate basically let the house run amuck with investigations and never once held their own hearings on the spy gate sham or the plotters and when the Republicans controlled both the house and the Senate they still let the president be accused of being a spy and they stood up for Robert Mueller and his sham investigation. I have no faith in so called Republicans. The party failed their president and it was fricking criminal that they let that happen. They have no spine.

Keep in mind, Kstreet also lines the pockets of Republicans. Sad

Paul Ryan said in his gaywadded book that Trump had no idea how govt was run.

WTF part of don't you and Paul Ryan get, that we don't want govt running like them?

I can be diplomatic. This is not the time. This is balls to wall and grab the hammer and nail them time or we get President AOC.

I just think that take on the Lester Holt interview is one in the worst possible light. There was further discussion on the matter wherein Trump asserted that Comey was incompetent as FBI Director. It was no secret the litany of issues Trump had with Comey. The circumstances of Clinton's clearing, the refusal to publicly state that Trump was not a specific target of the investigation as it were at the time, amongst other things.

Perhaps Trump could've expounded a little better around the exact Russia remark that you reference, but anyone who had been paying minimal attention wasn't perplexed in terms of "That's bizarre, what could he possibly mean?"

New rules - I don't care about rules made up by our partisan media and partisan hacks. Trump one in spite of them and he will do it again.

He fired a partisan hack and democrats are still running stories about how this guy was after Pompeo for walking his fricking dog. The DEMS do not give a frick about our kindness. Period

You're thinking like a political junkie here and deducing every morsel of info while the casual follower of news much less even politics does no such thing.

Meanwhile the common denominator to come out of that interview was RUSSIA and that was it.

The press and democrats went completely apeshit with it and not enough republicans in Congress had any interest in defending that.

That's on Trump. He should've never put himself in that position.

He's missing the part about why we elected Trump. We hired him in spite of Republicans and the party. The republican party put all their money behind Jeb "Please Clap".

We are sick of the Paul Ryan's not fighting back against the scum in politics. KStreet loves Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOPE becuase they all make deals and enrich themselves. Trump is here because we are no longer happy with that. The people finally spoke up.

I would be a PR disaster because I simply don't give a frick about the media or what people think and it's time for conservatives to move on from that way of thinking. Mitt Romney and John Mccain played that game and when they ran they became MR binders and Mr Racist. frick their rules

Last week alone is evidence of that.

And Trump is helping himself by not playing their game and doing stupid shite like he did in the Comey Interview with Lester Holt.

Just fire him, put out a statement and then move on.
