North Carolina. 5 more weeks phs 2

Daddy Cooper ( Democrat) grounded us for 5 more weeks. We tried really hard and even got better grades on our Covid test but daddy said it’s not good enough. He said due to the declining numbers we have to “double down” on restrictions.
- no gyms open (except Carolina panthers and college sports teams)
- no bars open but strip clubs open
- restaurant that allow inside seating curfew 11pm
- no curfew on protesting.
- mask mandate in public (except protesting)
- on and on and on about other stupid shite.
Why doesn’t daddy love us?

He's not using science at all and the fact that he's up for election this year is driving each and every one of his decisions. It doesn't help that none of his challengers pose a serious threat.
He's also doing this unilaterally which the Lt. Gov. argues is unconstitutional (State). The court case should be decided soon.

Mommy Grisham (Democrat) still chides us children and tells us we are BAD!. Says protesters who ask for the state open, BAD! Parents asking for schools to open, BAD! Protesters wanting businesses open, BAD! Protesters and Rioters, GOOD!

They at least need to open up the fricking playgrounds. I'm moving up there in a few days and I gotta get my kids out the damn house.
Guess there's always hiking trails and mountain streams.

He cancelled my sons YMCA camp. Meanwhile the YMCA camp next to Charlotte in SC had a full schedule and zero cases.

Listening to local talk radio this morning discussing how clueless Pooper is, and also openly asking how Pooper's approval ratings were still high, wondering who the heck they were polling.
A gentleman calls in who isn't bright enough to turn of his bluetooth or turn down his radio.. wondering why anyone was blaming Pooper.
He said it's Trumps fault because Obama already had " it" in place to where we were protected and Trump ruined it........
When asked to elaborate the guy kept rambling and cutting in and out like he was trying to talk and look around in his back seat with the phone in the front and then got disconnected.
As long as people like James ( the caller) make up 30-40% of the ignorant, helpless, sheople of this state and country... we can not win the War for them.
It saddens me.
I also don't know how people can just sit and let themselves go bankrupt and lose their business to a shut down and just go quietly.
