With leadership like this and Dr. Fossil, we don't need enemies.

The stock market is going to the moon and past to mars. We are in a deep-V recovery right now.

Whoever authored that opinion needs to be unemployed.

Because they get paid to do so

A shite load of people will ride the unemployment checks until it runs out. Then and only then will the actual recovery begin. Same as 2009.

We’ll see close to 80% of current unemployed, be hired back quickly.

With a vaccine
This charade will be long over before we get a vaccine. It’s insanely idiotic they keep bringing this nonsense up. I’m certainly not volunteering for version 1.0 either.

with actual openings, not just making contact.

the servers will be hit hard by this and will probably take longer for them to bounce back.
I do think the trend of ghosting jobs that developed while the economy was red hot is probably gone for a while. This down turn might also depress salaries and bonus payments that were on the rise very rapidly during the hot streak.

Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank President Neel Kashkari is very poorly informed.

I understand that. And I've had a couple of recruiters contact me in the last week.
My point is they might be being more aggressive than usual because their paycheck depends on it and there are less spots to fill
They don't want another recruiter getting the commission from those spots

Painfully so. I hope the Fed isn't making policy decisions based on that level of ignorance.
We know a great deal about this virus now. There is no cure, but there are good treatments that have proven to be effective and we know who is at high risk.
21% of NYC tested positive for antibodies in a random sampling. Over 90% of the NY deaths were people over 65 with two or more comorbidities. No one under age 18 died.
Meanwhile, Cuomo put coronavirus in NY's nursing homes.

Some industries; travel, lodging, restaurants, transportation, hospitality will be in for a longer road back.
If we can re-open and can get the unemployment to <=10% that is manageable. the economy is resilient and we will get it back. Likely be 2021 before we get back to pre-COVID levels.

Illegal Federal Reserve will hold the economy hostage in an attempt to help Democrats defeat Trump.

So they’re paid to falsely lead people into thinking they’re hiring?

No. Of course it's for legit job openings. But recruiters get paid commissions. They're likely being more aggressive with less open jobs to fill.

A lot of Americans are very close to telling local, state and the federal government to step the frick out of the way, we’s going back to work, we’re aware of the risks and we accept the risks.
