There was some 24 hour arts festival and a couple of gangbangers shot 22 people, the cops shot both of them, killing one.

The rest of the story. This guy was in jail for killing someone, then had his sentence extended for running gang activity in prison, should have been there for several more years but got released early....a policy the gov fully endorses.

The gov is pledging even stricter gun laws. Help me out here, but a killer out of jail early was able to legally purchase a gun under NJ law? I highly doubt it, no amount of new gun laws will stop this, but keeping him in prison where he was supposed to be might have.

Well, clearly Phil, all those gun laws you are signing are working.

Gun control leadership knows more laws won't work. All the passing of new laws is to act like they are doing something to people who have no clue about firearms and when it fails to push even more draconian laws. The idea is to make gun ownership too difficult to do.

News flash someone who just out of prison is not getting a weapon legally. If they want to restrict weapons laws then let us take security away from politicians as they do not need it either.

Curious what level of gun control would stop gangs from shooting each other.
