over sexual harassment allegations

Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk was among three NFL Network analysts suspended Monday night in response to a new filing in a lawsuit brought by former wardrobe stylist. Faulk, Ike Taylor and Heath Evans will remain suspended "pending an investigation into these allegations," NFL Network said in a statement to USA TODAY Sports. Jami Cantor, who worked at the network for a decade, described a series of sexually inappropriate encounters with the three along with several former NFL players and others who have worked for NFL Network, including Donovan McNabb, Warren Sapp and Eric Davis.

Ill repeat what I said in the thread on the MSB.

If this starts getting to athletes, the #metoo movement is going to go downhill real fast. Then next will be musicians which will just be laughable.

The biggest difference between politicians/tv personalities/execs and athletes/musicians is that the latter don’t hide their openly sexual lifestyles. And women (groupies/gold diggers/arm candy escorts) don’t hide that they happily partake.

Back in the day, Marshall had to hire a hotshot St Louis attorney to beat a domestic assault charge from his one-time fiancée.

Well how many are bringing accusations? If its between 3-10 I am more inclined to believe them. Just one? Not so much.

I dunno, not exactly what I was expecting for every guy in the building to take a run at her.

I was expecting a dime.

That article reeks of a woman who loved BBC, tried to be a little bit gangster, got fired, and wants to lash out now.

I've said it all along - women reporters don't belong in a man's game. Too much "shite" to wade through for the guys. Appears that is what is happening.

I'm pretty sure that beauty pageant fans wouldn't want Neville Brand and Jimmy Stewart emceeing their shows. I feel the same about female men's sports reporters.

Sad. These guys has to just take what the defense gives them. If I were an athlete or famous ex-athlete, I would only talk to chicks that slid into my DMs and have an assistant screen them thoroughly even before I responded.

She worked in wardrobe - a perfectly acceptable female position.

It sickens me that I agree because the sentiment, on its surface, is so sexist.

As long as networks keep hiring these dimes to cover sports, athletes will try to bang them. You couple that with the whole "I want to be taken seriously as a journalist" delirium most of these girls suffer from and you have a recipe for disaster.
