Trump just needs to win one of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota.

I don’t see Minnesota happening. I think Trump wins Wisconsin. Michigan and Penn up for grabs.

They weren’t this close prior to 2016 where they?

I believe this is the poll that basically nailed the electoral vote in 2016. However, they had a few states flip-flopped to get to the exact result (they had Wisconsin for Hillary).

I think it is (somehow) much harder this time around to find people willing to answer a poll and say they are voting for Trump than it was in 2016, though.

The polls, as a whole, are going to be astronomically off.

Every poll to you is bullshite.

This fricking pollster is the only one that fricking called trump winning Michigan and Pennsylvania. They literally predicted 306 electoral votes the day before the election.

It would be interesting to see their polling back in 2016 from April-August. I would love to see how much the gap closed between then and their last release before the election.

No way Penn is going to vote to kill their economy.

What did their polls show before the debates 4 years ago?

I imagine it did. But this pollster deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to trump and polling. Anything can chance.

The polls they've put out have been great if you are in trumps camp.

Especially with Covid and Floyd protests. All the other polls have trump down 15 points nationally to Biden and 20 points under water in approval. It's nice to seem something else that is more reflective of his chances.

I prefer the open polls on Twitter where white woke liberals get surprised with their uncensored polls

Agreed.

The farther we get from Covid/Floyd, the better Trump will poll. This is a good baseline in states like Florida and Wisconsin, and even Michigan. If Trump isn't really losing in those states after all that's happened, he's likely going to sweep all three, in my opinion.

Pennsylvania worries me some because the whole “I’m from Scranton” BS. If I were Trump I would hit that narrative hard. He left you high and dry as a young man, Senator and VP but now he says he’s going to do wonderful things for you.

If you give Trump the six points Rasmussen gives him in his favor due to people openly not saying they will vote for Trump. Then he’s in very very good shape in all these states and overall.
