32 counts on top of the 12 to start with. Ouch.

Not unexpected given the initial charges. I'm not really sure that proves anything other than possible income tax evasion. A big jump from Income Tax Evasion to a coordinated conspiracy to interfere with the US election

this must be all the stuff the feds were investigating before the SC was appointed

At this point it feels like they're just indicting people in hopes that something sticks.

Which means Tony Podesta is in deep. They're connected to each other.

like i said a day or 2 ago

i don't see how Gates is cooperating at this point if they're filing new charges, unless these are right up against the SOL

also, the SP taking over this is just helping out the AUSA from that district who wasn't able to get the indictment until now, most likely

the only way this can be bad for Trump is if they're going Roman on Manafort in hopes he has some info to give, but it feels like he's just collateral damage and there isn't really much he can offer

Well, I'll bet that if the Fed government set up a SC with a locker room full of DA types and a multi-$MM budget to investigate any OP on this board with no time limit to completion, they'd prolly find 'one or two' tax violations to charge...

Only the best hires, Doc.

Paulie M. and Ricky G. may want to reconsider any reticence they harbor about cooperation (or secure a promise of an absolute pardon). HBM can bring more of these till the rapture.

Very swampy individuals here. Very swampy.

The tax code is a ridiculous minefield of complexity that could snag anyone.

Everyone on this board has violated something in there, even if you don't know it.

I mean owner-occupied mortgage fraud isn't sexy or particularly damning but it's also not some unseen pitfall one just drops into

Yeah maybe now is good time for me to make sure all of my foreign shell companies are on the up-and-up.
