One attorney stated that Weissman threatened that speaking with a defendant “could get his client’s indicted”.

HOPEFULLY, that's why Mueller had Weissmann leave his little witch-hunt. It would be bad enough for Weissmann to be indicted under any set of circumstances, but it would be really, really bad optics if they arrested him at "Honest Bob's" workplace.
