It's at least a start...
https://georgiastarnews.com/2021/02/11/new-bill-in-georgia-legislature-imposes-restrictions-on-ballot-counting/
quote:
Fifteen members of the Georgia General Assembly have filed a bill that, if enacted into law, would require that election officials immediately count and tabulate ballots when the polls close.
“After the close of the polls on the day of a primary, election, or runoff, the board of registrars shall notify the election superintendent of the total number of absentee ballots received by the close of the polls that were certified by the board of registrars, and the election superintendent shall post such information publicly,” according to the language of the bill.
“After the polls close, the certified absentee ballots that were received by the time for the closing of the polls shall be counted and tabulated, and such count and tabulation shall not cease until all such ballots have been tabulated.”
State Sen. Jason Anavitarte (R-Dallas), the lead sponsor, did not return The Georgia Star News’ request for comment Wednesday, and neither did the remaining co-sponsors.
The bill’s co-sponsors include, among others, State Sen. Sheila McNeil (R-Brunswick), State Sen. Bruce Thompson (R-White), State Sen. Randy Robertson (R-Cataula), State Sen. Steve Gooch (R-Dahlonega), and State Sen. Jeff (R-Chickamauga).

I hope Louisiana is working on this before it is too late.

They need to outlaw fractional vote counting, too. It has no place in free and fair elections.
Also, ban Dominion.
Also, ban Dominion.

That’s a great first step.

First positive news we have heard in a while.

And anything connected to it.

Louisiana actually has a very good Department of Elections.
Our problem is no one to vote for.

I never understood why a city (Atlanta) which has bus, subway, and polling locations everywhere needed 2,000 drop boxes all over the place while the rest of the state that doesn't have any of this had less than 50 drop boxes?
These mail in fraud boxes must all go bye bye including the 50 they used to justify the fraud.

They don't need them. We know why they are there. It is 99.9999% impossible to not vote in person in Ga regardless of what the runway model says.

Don't get excited. The Ga. Legislature is GOP led but they are divided between 'moderates' and 'Trump fans.' It's gonna be a tough fight.

Yes, but what if a water pipe breaks or something?

This will just make the dems have to try harder, but won't necessarily stop them from fraud. As long as anyone can request a mail-in ballot, the fraud is unbeatable.
Need to restrict absentee ballots to deployed military and registered handicapped. Period. When you have a whole month to vote early, there's no other reason for an absentee ballot.

Louisiana does not have the same demographic problems that Georgia has and our election system is actually very competent and secure and we don't allow parishes to run their own elections like Georgia allows counties to run theirs and we also don't have mail in voting.
The Louisiana secretary of state's office has their own people and own equipment in each and every parish.
Georgia does no such thing.

The state legislatures are the last hope for the republic.

Didn't they ignore state law during the last election? They will ignore this one.

Election reform should be the first issue on any politicians platform in any election. Anyone not talking about it should be ignored.
