Strange is basically an outed crook. Everyone in the state knows he slow walked the investigation.
Meanwhile, other than North Alabama, Brooks isn't well known.
In politics, name recognition ALWAYS goes far. Couple that with Strange portraying Brooks in the rest of Alabama as in bed with Pelosi and, Moore is getting the default vote.

17% undecided is a pretty big number a week out from the primary. Guessing a lot of those just stay home.
Strange and Moore in a runoff. I'm not sure Moore can get to 50% in a two-way race, but turnout for these special elections is extremely low and his base are the ones that do come out so it's certainly possible.

The appointment of Jeff Sessions is doubly bad. First we get an AG who had some troubling policy views (CAF, WOD, etc.), and then his likely replacement looks to be significantly worse.

Well, everyone in the state knows that Strange slow walked an investigation into the Governor AND lied to the state legislature.

There's the appearance that Strange slow walked an investigation into the former Governor in exchange for his appointment to Sessions's seat.
Moore has been removed from office twice now for breaking Federal orders. He plays the evangelical vote.

Moore is at his peak at 30%. There are a lot of stupid people here in Alabama, but we are not that stupid. No way Moore takes this

I am going to say it again. Big Luther is a snake! He drug out Gov. Bentley's investigation until after the Sessons appointment so the Love Gov could appoint him.
Anyone that can lie like Big Luther has been on TV and the mailers about Mo Brooks will never get my vote. Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingram and others have all endorsed Mo. The one endorsement that surprises me is the NRA who have endorsed Big Luther. As a life member of the NRA I doubt if I can ever send any more money to the NRA again after the adds that they have run against Mo.
