Same reason 9/11 happened to us. We had general info that something big was brewing, but didn't know when, where or how.
I would definitely agree that October 7 was a bigger blunder by Israel's intelligence community than what we experienced on 9/11, but to insinuate they allowed it to happen is ridiculous.

Okay, well that’s a definition. But then the Armenians aren’t being ethnically cleansed either.
But if you are claiming that the people we call Palestinians are not being forced out of Gaza en masse, then we disagree. That is exactly what Israel is doing.
