Just finished 'Socialism Sucks'. I give it a B+.
Gotta order one on kindle tomorrow morning.

It doesn't have to be political but it must be non fiction. Thanks.

Douglass Murray has a new book out, The Madness of the Crowd.

He tackles woke/cancel culture. I havent read it, but I have seen him in interviews and he is witty and insightful.

Read Andrew Jackson's biography if you haven't yet.

Thanks to all. Right now I'm leaning Douglas Murray. I'm out for today but will check this thread at 3 a.m. before I order to see if there are other recommendations.

It's a bit buried, but there is a Book board on TD. Very helpful people over there!

It is fiction but based during the Bolshevik revolution.

An aristocrat who was confined to his hotel for life.

Here's a tip you will thank me for.

Go online, find a series of pamphlets (they are all more short books than pamphlets) titled "One Dozen Candles" published by the JBS (The Americanist Series) in the early 60s.

All together about 700 pages.

Everything that is happening today will become clear to you once you are finished reading them. You will not be able to put them down.

The bonus is that they are collector's items.

First come first serve on Amazon .... here you go: LINK

Here they are broken down a bit ... LINK

If you have not read Witness by Whitaker Chambers, then by all means give it a try. Ronald Reagan said it was seminal in his changing from a Democrat to a conservative.
