Regardless of your political beliefs, I think that the majority of people would agree that the "debates" were a national disgrace. The moderator was weak and allowed chaos to reign. I did not vote in 2016, and I will not be voting in 2020. Before anyone states what party I belong to, I am a registered independent. The fact is that the two party system is failing. I would describe myself as a moderate that leans towards conservatism. The extreme rhetoric of both parties is ridiculous. What we need is a man (sorry ladies) who embraces the truth and pursues it regardless of political party.

Your post and attitude are the national disgrace, and you should be embarrassed.

Then get the hell out of here. Those of us who do vote don't need advice or opinions from someone who doesn't.

It wasn't exactly the Lincoln Douglas debates, that is for sure. I had to turn it off. Trump could have easily dominated the debate by letting Biden talk and just calmly conveying his own record. The constant badgering was exactly that.

I enjoy a good scrap as much as the next person, but the whole thing was really disappointing and depressing.

Don't bring Logic in here. Trump is a hero to these people. I don't know why but he is. I could understand if they chose a well spoken, well thought out leader to fight against the evil politicians but this dude isn't any of that.

Sad world we are living in.

So you stand for nothing and don't participate.

Do you want a medal?

WHy should anyone care what you think? My one house plant that I haven't killed yet holds the same position.

Are you under the impression that not voting is admirable?

No one has promised anyone the ability to vote for someone they like or love.

Voting has always been simply for the best candidate, overall that candidate could still be someone you don’t like.

Consider living in place you don’t get the option to vote before choosing not to vote.

In a fight of good versus evil you are caught up in a debate over decorum? Really?

BLM is Marxist. Biden (I am the Democrat Party) supports BLM. What else do you really need to know. One side supports Marxism....the other does not. Pretty clear choice.

Failure to vote for the GOP this November will fix that for you. In accordance with Schumer's design, you'll have a one-party system for a couple of decades.

Why is everything about words with you people. The gift of gab by a politician is more times than not proof of the lack of action by a president. Reagan would be the exception. Talking up a blue streak with "well spoken" words as you say, doesn't accomplish jack in the results department.

Can you even register as an independent?

(I live in a state that doesn’t recognize party affiliations so I don’t know.)

We've had plenty of those who aren't effective.

to fight against the evil politicians
He is exactly this.

For all Trump's failings, he delivers on issues that Americans care about. He's improved border security, done a lot on trade, he's pulled the US out of pointless armed conflicts, opened up domestic energy exploration which reduces our dependency of foreign oil, and his economic policies have increased real wages for the first time in decades. He's not a great orator, can be petty and childish, but he does what he says he's going to do. A lot of people will make that trade.
