House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y.:

“The effect of impeachment is to overturn the popular will of the voters. We must not overturn an election and remove a president from office except to defend our system of government or constitutional liberties against a dire threat, and we must not do so without an overwhelming consensus of the American people.”

Nadler said this during impeachment proceedings.

The Clinton impeachment proceedings.

Might actually be a salient point, then and now.

They don’t care about what they’ve said, no integrity anymore.

I heard a (somewhat) noisy recording of this the other day. Team Trump should clean the audio, play it against a black background and then throw 'Trump 2020' appear. My ad for the day.
