House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler said that Democrats are 'prepared' for Hunter Biden to be called as an impeachment witness

•President Trump and his Republican allies have said they'd like to see Hunter and Joe Biden testify if Democrats are allowed new witnesses during the Senate trial

•'Any trial judge in this country would rule such a witness as irrelevant and inadmissible,' Nadler argued during a Wednesday morning press conference

It’s the “political rivals” the main aspect of the Dems whole case here?!

Seems pretty relevant.

How the frick can he say he's not relevant?

The ENTIRE purpose of this whole shite show is because they say Trump is interfering in an election AGAINST BIDEN.

The subject of the issue that precipitated the whole mess is irrelevant.

I wish I could say I was shocked and that I expect this to laughed off.

I wish...

Their argument is that the charges brought against Trump don't pertain to anything related to any of the Biden stuff. It's absurd. It's going to be rejected, they know that, but now they're trying to use the media to paint this all as some cover-up. They are quite literally going to try and set this country ablaze with riots and protests.

There will be a brief period of martial law. Or, well, there could be. It's been worked into the plan if it comes to that. But by the looks of things I'd say there's a good chance it will come to that.

Shouldn't the bidens have to testify... since the entire Ukraine drama here centers around them?

If hunter Biden did some illegal shite that resulted in Ukrainian individuals getting fired for daring to look into him... then trump is in the right to ask about it. Because the rightful people who are supposed to prevent this kind of corruption from happening, were apparently a part of the problem themselves. So the fact that it made it all the way to our sitting president, without getting solved, is embarrassing.

If hunter Biden didn't do anything wrong, then it could be seen as trump trying to create drama where no drama exists.

Trumps defense is to prove that the Bidens were corrupt. Should be an easy sell with Hunter and Joe on the stand and ACTUAL evidence collected by Giuliani at the Republicans disposal

Everyone with a brain knows that Hunter being on the board of the most corrupt Ukrainian company collecting millions was shady as frick. If you think differently, please, by all means, share with the class how its OK

I thought Senate sets the rules.

If the Senate states they want to talk with Biden, then that is following the rules.

Opposing the Bidens, Schiff, and Whistleblower as witnesses would be a coverup taking place by the dems, amirite Nancy?

No doubt they will be called and should be called, if it goes to that link.

There is no evidence of any crime, so there should be no need for this to go that far.

I do not want another Watergate type fiasco that goes on for months on end and dragged out. I finished two years of school while Watergate was goin on and if this goes to the full Senate it could go on much longer than that.

This needs to end quick.

There were serious charges regarding criminal activity being directed out of the White House and people were seriously outraged over it (as they should have been). Plus you had the conspiracy and cover-up to thwart the investigation aspect. The House and Senate were controlled by the Dems and it wasn't looking good. Plus the economy sucked in 1974.

None of those factors exist and people see it for what this is: a partisan hack job.

Whistleblower

This is the guy. This is the one I most want to see called to testify.

Schiff's head would explode.

For the record, I don't expect to see the WB or anyone else who could expose the dems as true villains to testify.

Mitch will opt for the time tested senate's gentlemen's rules and no one will pay a price for this fiasco.
