Fine by me. You're on their side anyway.

I think it was pretty clear that team Trump wanted to sabotage the meeting. The log term question is whether Trump's "crazy guy" style will lead to successes in the long term. That method did work for Reagan, but Reagan was much more disciplined than Trump. The story isn't over.

Very well said.

I'm assuming the poliboard still thinks Don should get the Nobel Prize in spite of this news, right?

Canceling a meeting to help end decades of tension and threats of nuclear attack cause little fat man called Pence a name.

Par for the course. Snowflake in chief.

I’m not saying Trump is making a tactical negotiation error.

I’m saying it feels like an L for those of us who believe(d) that this was already a done deal, for whatever reason (Q).

I dare say the poliboard doesn’t see the Nobel prize as much of a legitimate honor anymore these days.

I serious when I say this; you have to keep this canceled summit in context with the current trade negotiations with Xi. These global actions are not isolated as they are portrayed in media articles.

I guess I can do your job for you lazy bastard

October 3, 2017

REP. RUBEN GALLEGO: This question is for Secretary Mattis. In your opinion, is Iran compliant with the JCPOA?

SEC. MATTIS: I believe they fundamentally are. There have been certainly some areas where they were not, temporarily in that regard. But overall, our intelligence community believes that they have been compliant, and the IAEA also says so.

RG: As a follow up to that, Secretary Mattis, will you be recommending to President Trump that we continue working through the JCPOA to contain Iran’s nuclear capability?

MATTIS: We are working that right now. There are -- if you look -- we have two different issues. One is the JCPOA and one is what Congress has passed. And those two are distinct, but integral with each other. As you look at what the Congress has laid out – [it’s] a somewhat different definition of what's in our best interest. And therein lies, I think, the need for us to look at these distinct but integral issues the way the president has directed.

RG: Thank you Secretary Mattis. If there is going to be any change in the status of our participation in JCPOA, especially if it involves the interpretation of what we in Congress passed in terms of sanctions against Iran outside the JCPOA, will you come back and inform and talk to us? Because I believe many of us voted for Iran sanctions outside the JCPOA with the understanding that they were not going to be linked.

MATTIS: Well I think that this would probably be most appropriate by the Secretary of State, and I would follow him up here. I think that our diplomacy – the president and the Secretary of State, I think, have the lead on that. But once a decision is made – and I will be in on the decision, I'll give input, of course – I'm always willing to come up and talk in hearing or in private.

That was back in October, something happened since then. Cannot put my finger on it, maybe you could research that and get back to us all here.

They just destroyed their testing facility this morning. Do we really need a summit?

I'm pleased that, unlike President Obama, Trump cares more about the United States than he does with impressing the rest of the world.

I get the distinct feeling at times that Trump knows he's got a special gift of dealing with difficult people, and at some level, he's trying to share it with everybody else for their own well being.

BO shouldn't have gotten one either. But he's not the topic of this conversation.

Oh I absolutely agree, it's one big chess board.

Again, my question is what evidence do we have that Trump can beat all the other countries involved?

What evidence exists that he has had any meaningful success in "getting the right deal for the U.S"?

Are you Rip Van Winkle? Where have you been for the last 15months. And if you think I am going to list them for you, not gonna do it. His deals are on going and will make this country much better for it. If people would just put politics aside and realize the positive changes that are taking place they would also see. But some people who hate Trump will never admit it. But they too will reap the benefits.

He even said he didn't deserve it at the time.

Tells you allot about these two Presidents.
