1. Biden's son gets involved in a corruption-filled oil and gas deal in Ukraine and the Ukrainian authorities get him under investigation, and word gets back to then Vice President Biden that his son is about to get charged in Ukraine.

2. Then Vice President Biden threatens to withhold nearly $1B in foreign aid that's previously designated for Ukraine unless they drop the investigation into his son. Ukrainian authorities apparently capitulate to this clear extortion.

3. Fast forward a few years and we learn that NYT and Politico have investigated all this and they surprisingly threw former VP Biden under the bus. But the rest of the media fails to cover this and it slowly fades out of existence like every other Democrat scandal and law breaking. FN and the Right have never let it go, however, and have been rehashing it often ever since.

4. Then about a month ago, Trump has a phone call with the new Ukrainian President, and in that conversation, it's becoming understood that he explains he knows they quashed the investigation into Biden's son because Biden extorted them, and now he believes it's in their best interest to reinstate that investigation if they want to continue receiving our monetary aid and continue an ongoing favorable relationship with the US.

5. For some unknown reason, a member of one of our intelligence agencies was surveilling Trump's phone calls, and decided that this conversation amounted to Trump extorting Ukraine trying to force them to investigate Biden's son. This IC member is now claiming "whistleblower status" and has run to the OIG to report Trump.

6. My question is, why in the blue frick is our IC listening to Trump's phone calls? Is there another FISA somewhere? Did they yet again abuse the NSA 702 program and illegally unmask Trump? What was the probable cause to do this? How can they possibly do this when the Constitution explicitly affords Executive Privilege to all communications of the President? This is unquestionable proof that there are treasonous and seditious hyper-partisan individuals still inside our IC trying to consciously undermine and thwart President Trump. This is proof of the existence of "The Deep State" and an ongoing attempt at a silent-coup.

7. And conveniently, all this information was leaked to the Dems and Leftwing media. And now the Dems and Lefty MSM want to make this out like Trump is trying to influence the election by extorting Ukraine to shakedown Biden, completely ignoring the fact Trump is only trying to correct a wrong already committed by Biden and the Ukraine.

8. This isn't even "two wrongs don't make a right" situation. Trump is not doing anything wrong. He is telling Ukraine to stop acting in bad faith or we will withhold aid because of your malfeasance. Which is 100% justified. They quashed an investigation and didn't report Biden extorting them. That is textbook corruption.

This is nothing but proof of Deep State frickery yet again.

The Lefty MSM will carry the Dem's narrative and continue trying to ignore the fact this started with Biden extorting Ukraine just so they can portray Trump as trying to influence the election.

They'll ignore the fact the IC is illegally surveilling Trump's communications too.

The Left is simply evil. There's no other way to put it. And the idiot Lefties on this site will of course ignore the truth so they can shite on Trump some more. Dishonest and evil, and I am truly glad to know they're all going to burn in hell.

It's election year coming up... This was due...

Russian Collusion II - The Sequel... IF you thought the first Mueller Report was costly, boring and a waste... Hold on to your seats. This one will be worse.

I don't think point 4 casts President Trump in a favorable light. While I can see all the defenders saying there is nothing to see here, Point 4 in particular does not look good to me. That's really all I'm saying. And for those who've seen my posts and at 60+, I've never voted for a democrat.

There won't be another Special Counsel. Schiff and Nadler will froth up their own investigations and public trial, spinning the shite out of the narrative, and the media will willfully hold their water and propagandize it.

They'll insist this is proof of "election interference", completely ignoring the fact nothing illegal happened. They may even throw Joe Biden under the bus as the sacrificial lamb since it's pretty clear now they don't want him as the nominee.

Then they'll use THIS as the excuse to get the rest of the House Dems to vote Yes on impeachment.

That's what i'm betting is the purpose of this.

It's also pretty obvious that this "whistleblower" is a Dem shill/plant and this was planned. They've likely been listening to Trump's calls for a long while and just waiting for something like this they could spin and use.

I hope in the mean time Ukraine moves forward with the investigation.

The only ones who don't think this type of conversation looks good are people who don't want or care if Joe Biden receives justice for his extorting another government to save his son from prosecution.

How can Trump be the bad guy for trying to right a wrong?

Because this would cause Biden to drop out of the election?

Do we want a guy running for President who extorted a country to save his son who committed crimes?

That's bullshite.

Assuming that's an accurate summation of the conversation, I agree.

It does demonstrate that he, unlike 99% of the GOP, understands that when you're in a bar fight you use bar fight rules. I wish we weren't in a bar fight, but we are.

This.

3-4 years ago, I was told incessantly by the left that the content of Hillary’s emails didn’t matter, but the fact that they were hacked meant the sky was falling.

What’s changed?

The only thing that you missed (possibly) is that Trump saying that is not illegal...but what it has done, is thrust Bidens shite back into the spotlight.
Trump will be fine, but the damage to Biden will be huge

Yeah, I can't imagine waking up to the shite Trump wakes up to 24/7/365. It takes a special person to push back against these never-ending attacks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the administration arranged for the whistleblower to come forward, knowing it would create a shite storm and blow up in the democrat's face.

This shite will be dropped with the quickness when it starts shedding a bad light on Biden or any other Dem in the process...

Which it's not. There is absolutely nothing wrong or illegal about telling a country we're going to withhold aid if you don't stop doing something you are doing wrong.

shite, he threatened Latin American countries with withholding aid if they didn't do something about their caravans of illegals coming to our border.

Threatening to withhold aid to pressure a country to do something proper isn't wrong or illegal at all.

Maybe not illegal but now we're going to hear about this shite nonstop for the next several month. DOJ needs to arrest some Deep State actors to change the narrative.

It's beyond frustrating. The swamp is so much more massive than any of us ever thought.

I'm losing faith in Barr now, which is yet another punch to the gut.

I just don't get the inaction. Not prosecuting McCabe or Comey after receiving criminal referrals is bullshite.

frick DC, man. frick em all.
