This is what's so funny about Conservatives. The Right has already lost. You either just don't know it or you're too scared to admit it.
There is nothing that getting a Right Wing judge on the SCOTUS can do to stop the rapidly changing demographics and abandonment of traditional customs and long held beliefs of this country.
The Right could completely stop the immigration of minority immigrants tomorrow and it's not going to change a thing about America's continual lurch to the left.
This nation's rapidly growing population of the religiously unaffiliated, declining church numbers, relaxed social mores, and the rapid browning are going to continue unabated.
Whites are falling into minority status in the not too distant future. You've lost.
The historic demonization and attempts to keep gays as second class citizens is frowned upon by changing generational views and beliefs. You've lost.
This country is almost unrecognizable from twenty years ago. Can you imagine what it will be like in another twenty?
I will admit even I am nervous of what all these changes portend for this country. But there's absolutely nothing you, or I ,can do about it. It is what it is.
I suspect in just a short time in the future, the Right will nostalgically look back on the Trump era as the Last Hurrah. It was the Last Hurrah for "normal Americans". We all know what that means.
Remember that. The Last Hurrah.
